| I feel like K-pop is more accessible than J-pop. I'll be the first to admit that I've fallen victim to the mainstream pop appeal of Korean music. But I have much respect for Japanese artists and songwriters, especially in the rock/pop rock genre. Japanese bands are better than Western bands right now. |
| I honestly don't like K-Pop. I live in an area filled with Koreans. Yes the music can sound nice in K-Pop at times, but it's this certain feeling I have that I don't like it. J-Pop is really all I have as music on my phone. |

| Ugh, this was a hard decision but I have to choose kpop. It's just so... lively. The majority of mainstream jpop is often heavily auto tuned and electronic, and I just feel there's too much of it. Kpop has a lot more variety. |

| I've never found the appeal for K-pop. Honestly, some of their popular songs are pretty bad and remind me of the style of trashy American pop music. Thus, J-pop is my preferred taste of music. |

| All over I prefer K-pop! There are some really good J-pop acts like; capsule, kyary pamyu pamyu, polysics etc But k-pop is more established and the songs are more unique sounding?? I find a lot of j-pop musicians have similar sounding vocals (for the most part) |

| I actually can't stand Jpop... It is fine if it is a Kpop group singing in Japanese (SHINee/U-KISS), but for the most part Jpop is too cutesy for me. All smiling faces and peace signs. With Kpop though I get variety. Maybe I have been listening and watching the wrong Jpop groups? If anyone can recommend me a group that isn't like that in Jpop I am willing to listen and give them a chance. |

| I like KPOP and JPOP but not the idol JPOP groups. I used to like Buono when I was much younger though hehe. I've tried getting into idol JPOP groups now and I just can't :/ With KPOP I tend not to listen to sexy girl groups much. I like KPOP with cool dances....or silly and dorky ones like Crayon Pop omg they're so cute. I like KPOP more in some ways and JPOP more in other ways. |
