Disney's newest purchase --> Marvel

News story

Thoughts? I actually think there can be some good from this. While the prospect of a Mickey Mouse vs. Wolverine video game isn't really all that enticing, better connections with distribution could help Marvel help alleviate those costs and hopefully spend more effort on things that matter. Just think about the prospect of a scenario where Magneto, Jafar and Cruella de Vil plot to take over the world by using the genie to rid the world of puppies. Heh.

I expect absolutely nothing to change on Marvel's end and I expect Disney to give them any amount of money they ask for

Don't recommend me something that is still publishing, unless its close to being finished. Don't recommend me anything that isn't licensed.

Wasn't the American economy founded on stopping things like monopolies? No wonder they don't care about what they put out, like EA Sports they have no competition

Good: Lasseter at Pixar is gung-ho at helping develop properties with Marvel.
Better: Disney comics will finally have a distribution infrastructure after many years of limbo.
Best: My Howard the Duck/Gyro Gearloose slash fics are one step closer to being canon.

It's all right. Marvel never really existed for me, and Disney has been dead in my eyes since sometime just after the Lion King anyway.

Hmmm. What if they made a survival horror game composed of undead mickeys and Robin Williamses?

You know what..Simba was a baller. Lion King, in my opinion, was about the only good thing from Disney..and it was stolen from the Japanese..lol

But yea...Disney is currently at war with Oprah. It's true...Disney and his legion of cartoons want to take over the world, and so does Oprah and her army of soccor moms. Question is...who will win?

Marvel's cast hopped aboard the faggotry railway years ago. It's a shame, because it means we get messed up shit like Venom from the most recent movie adaptation. They messed up every possible aspect of him they could, and then some.
