| Quite a few had me hooked but the main one that springs to mind is Kaleidostar believe it or not. It's one of my top 5 anime and I feel it is greatly underrated. Another for me would be Full Metal Panic, and it just grew on me as it progressed. |

| Usually long running series don't strike me with their awesomeness in the first ep, so shorter animes tend to have me hooked much much earlier. For me Sengoku Basara, Eureka Seven, Black Lagoon and Cowboy Bebop all had great first episodes that got me addicted to each show. |
| Shakugan no Shana - Pure awesome action already from the start. Hayate no Gotoku! - Had me laugh almost constantly. Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu - Hmm pretty much the same as Hayate~. |

| Every 1st episode with a certain amount of win in it. Half of my anime list actually, if the first ep doesnt hook me and the second isn't making up for it, I usually dont bother to watch the rest.
