D: @Sayuri: Nice picture, but the sig could be a bit wider or the updates box a bit more tranparent, so the girl isn't overlapped that much. :3 |

I would blend it in more or add a border. There're plenty if you look around. Even the basic photoshop set works. The rest is your willingness and creativity. |

D: Yeah, I know. Its just that I wanted to try and work with GIMP. It was especially annoying, since for almost every single thing I wanted to do I had to google "How to... in GIMP" :D I don't have the heart to make a new one now, but I did change the font, you were right, it looked horrible. I think it's a little better now. @kyrori, while you have made an amazing sig with shapes, brushes etc. Sealkid has made not a worse one without. Simple is good. You don't always need many elements to make a good sig. |

XD To the thing with Sealkid, yeah his sig now doesn't look that bad, but I have to say his previous ones weren't really that great. My sigs also looked the same for a long time and its hard to do something new, but not impossible. Certainly simplicity worked this time for his sig, but it would be cool to see something new. I also tried different things now with some sigs. Oh and you can find some good brushes at deviantart. :D |

All of us have a "comfort zone" that we tend to reside in, and experimenting, as nicely put earlier, sort of pushes us out and allows us to see some other things we might like to do that we might otherwise had not known about. That's the way it is with almost anything in life. In my opinion, it's not a matter of one style being inherently better (because it's not), but rather a matter of trying things by exploration to see what you like best and what is the most fun.its hard to do something new, but not impossible. |

| @Iri: Not really sure what exactly the trick that was used on that sig. Or maybe it isn't shown in that one title updated. I have no idea why the "t" is flashing but not the others. And all the girls seem to be randomly switching place every updated, not sure. |

| @ PresSiT hahaha, lol, she is cute :D but you should use a different font, and her name is a bit wierd at the buttom cos of the capslock. On the topic of experimenting: Experimenting is good, but don't be afraid to fail while doing it, cos you will (or at least I surely did several times). Actually experimenting and exploring things is even good for your comfort-zone style, cos your skills will surely level up. Btw, I think my comfort zone is either lol-nosebleed-worthy-mosaic or blood......... |

I don't want to sound too harsh, but I think PresSiT & kyrori gave him some good advice. Thing is all his sigs look the same too me. Even the font is the same. Same composition, same design, everything. If he doesn't experiment he'll just keep making the 'same' sig. And that's dull imo. I hope I dont offend anyone with this :< |
| I also don't like when people stick to the same concepts over and over again. for the record, you don't need to use brushes all the time as long as you can create something that is uniquely you. however, just copy/pasting a pretty image and slapping on a border or something to that effect annoys me. in that case, I think you should use some brushes to both improve it and mark it as your own, or move on to another picture where you can do that. personally, I like to try completely different things, and with the exception of my normal elizabeth and my christmas elizabeth sigs, all are completely different. |

It's largely useless and adds absolutely nothing to the looks of the signature, but here's what was involved with it: Like I said, minimal (or more likely, no) value added to how the signature actually looks, but seeing the thing actually work was a really fun thing. :) |
