| When I was a kid of course with the reruns of the dubbed shounens that were made in the 90s/00s, then for a long time I didnt watch any, started again in highschool as a result of being a loner, joined this site just a year ago at the age of 23 in the hopefully later half of my college time. So I watched probably like 8 years (without gaps) anime before joining. Wished I would have joined however much earlier because the anime I watched in 1 year since joining (this is an alt-my orig is banned) is a lot more than all the stuff I watched before, also the joy of being a seasonal watcher is a pleasure I wish I had found earlier. |

| I got into anime in 2010 actually, started off rewatching Yu Gi Oh GX on hulu, then watched Soul Eater for the first time - watched Death Note and I was hooked for life. Found myanimelist from watching an old podcast called Podtaku, and the rest is history. |

| Seen my first anime about 30 years ago with a couple Macross episodes hacked up to make Robotech. Didn't become a full-blown fan until a decade later in 2002. So would be 20 years in this instance. |

| Says I joined this site in 2011. I don't even recall making this profile my first time. I felt like I've been here longer. But I've been watching aniime since the 90s. So at least 10+ years before joining MAL I've been watching anime. 20+ years in total. |
| It didn't go long... just a couple of months before I stumbled upon this site. Signed up (I am not the best at keeping track of things, and MAL allows this, so perfect) thinking I would probably watch a few more Anime's then leave this medium... getting close to two years since that happened. |

| I didn't exist before I made an account. Started watching immediately out of the womb. But yeah, since early 2000's, maybe around 8 years before I subjected myself to MAL. I was always keeping some sort of list before then, but it was a pain to keep up with. |

| After about 2-3 weeks I think. I've always been kind of obsessed with lists, so this was perfect. Was only on my fourth show at the time. |
