It's an anthology project created for a global audience (the same audience as the first season), with each film being a standalone work with its own unique production staff. Per the studio's post on their site, it's clear that it was targeted for the Korean audience: The reason why this is highly regarded is because, except for Lookism, Studio Mir's works have usually been in English as the original language. And while most of the Netflix animation projects and anime outsourcing are going to talented people in Korean animation studios, the reality is that Korean studios are not receiving as much recognition, so this is even more so.
