This old man is so cool
His story really got me emotional
It was cut how they were building the treehouse while being attacked by zombie boars. Beatrix killed all of them with a bow. (+some rearrangements) I think the anime version is better actually.

They didn't have to go so hard for this sequence. But they did. Damn beautiful.

| Because the English subs come out a day after the Japanese broadcast, I always forget to watch this in time. Delay 100 strikes again. Since the Summer season is over, there are no available timeslots for the remaining episodes to air. So the last 3 episodes of the show have been delayed indefinitely. While production issues was definitely a factor, the real reason the last 3 episodes didn't air was mainly because there were a few weeks when no episode were aired due to other programs taking their place. Which is very unfortunate. Oh well. Loved the complete opening. Is Akira's dad bitten? Or is he just sick? I wonder if it's like TWD where anyone who dies becomes a zombie regardless of whether they were bitten or not. So, there are more guys like Akira with a diary out there. Not surprising. There are a lot of people who fantasize about zombie apocalypse or the collapse of society. These new guys seem to be the social outcasts. I wonder what type of shit they'll pull next... It's really unfortunate the last 3 episodes won't be out anytime soon. I wonder if it'll be a NieR: Automata situation where they'll dump all 3 episodes in one day. 86 and Isekai Ojisan also suffered a similar fate. With Isekai Ojisan having the worst release schedule I've ever seen. It's unfortunate because Zom 100 is one of the better anime of this season. I enjoyed it a lot. I hope it'll get more episodes very soon. |

| More than nine weeks to have a complete OP sequence. This is so sad, man. But seriously, this show has fallen off so hard in the writing department. Now it's nothing more than just a shounen story trying to be deep and meaningful. And of course they are re-using the "character with a list of things to do before..." formula for a third time now smh. Anyways, I assume Ep.10-12 will most likely air next year. My bet's on February-March. |
| This show looks nice but, lets be real, it's pretty middling. It's not funny enough, nor does it take the zombie apocalypse seriously. It's in this weird pocket of being absolutely nothing, while trying to parade this idea of being in control of your life because it matters— all the while the MC puts himself and others at risk over stuff that don't matter. This episode was one of the more interesting ones, what with Nega-Akira and his goons— but who knows how long it's gonna take to get back into it. |

| Sad ending to the season but even in universe this was getting tired. None of the characters are strong enough to carry the story and the lack of endgame is bothering |

@Lanz The whole point is to do the bucket list stuff until he gets made into a zombie.
| @mal_user_2022 That might have worked if they had purposefully followed the bucket list, at this point they are just randomly crossing out things that they happen to run into on their journey. It's okay that they don't rigidly follow it as they are emphasizing freedom throughout the story but still it doesn't work as an endgame |

| Nice start to the episode with the tree house building. With Tendo back in his home town it looked as though things would be peaceful for a bit, but that guy introduced at the end makes me doubt that... With his motives he seems to be the opposite of Tendo in terms of his personality. |
