Character background information.

I don't like how each episode so far doesn't explain where Tenma is or what he is doing (how did he contain the information at first). We were introduced to the thief in the last episode, and now this episode's time skips to whatever Tenma is doing.

Looks like he shook the thief thank goodness. That sick old fuck I’m quite enjoying these side quests at least the story is progressing while the side stories are happening.

That picture on the abandoned building kinda looks like Einsturzende Neubauten logo.

Poor Dieter... Luckily Tenma noticed the signs of abuse and got him to the hospital. Hopefuly he'll get into better home.

Those experiments in orphanges sounds very much like something that nazis would have done.

And turns out those twins
. The story keeps getting more and more interesting.

Once again you can see from this perfectly written episode how many parallels the anime monster has to reality.
Everything about this anime is very authentic.

Oh my gosh, Tenma is being recognized everywhere he goes.

Johan could have been a subject of government experiments. It's so messed up that orphanages are constantly neglected by those who are supposed to support them.

Great, after seeing that trainer with his adoptive young daughter a few eps ago, I assumed this guy was the same, given how much he passionately preaches about taking care of children, oh boy it's far from the truth. This sick, old, bastard is a hypocrite, he beats the child he takes after and lies as though he did nothing wrong. He must definitely have worked in that former 511 orphanages.

On the other hand, the orphanage managed by that woman is a safe haven when compared to the 511. It's no wonder that Johan turned out to be the way he did, especially if he was experimented on.

While slower than some of the earlier episodes, this one covered a pretty good bit of information and was really interesting

Does that mean the government has a hand in how messed up Johan turned up to be.

I still think that Johan was sociopath from the start but the orphanage definitely give him more skills and mind sets.
Oh look at that Tenma by himself finds truth about twins but police can’t (Im gonna complain everytime)

Monster Episode 11

"You only need love in order to develop a person."

Now we have confirmed that the twins were adopted and came from a horrible orphanage. They were treated as criminals because of their background and were treated with fear and violence. They got separated and Johan was put in 511 Kinderheim which was a secret laboratory of East Germany.

I hate it when anime/manga that I enjoyed ends, especially when there could be much longer plot and when I love main heroine :P

I wish I had magic glasses that let me see real world in anime colors ;)

Edit: all these comments like oh it was nazi germany, of course they did some human experiments are so funny lmao

This show seemed so scattered and disconnected for me up until this episode where it all finally went click!

Tenma is going to get wrapped up with alllll sorts of shady monsters along this journey to find out what happened with Johan and will be constantly put into situations that bring his moral fiber into question. It will be interesting to see how far his journey will take him before he truly loses every sense of that innocent wide eyed self he was in episode 1.

Things are already not looking great for him so I'm giving him a very slim chance of coming out of this remotely looking the same at the end of this all. Godspeed Tenma
