| That moment when the opening plays once the episode ends and despite mostly Madoka being the one in the visuals you read the lyrics and realize they're from Homura's POV and the timeline in which both her and Madoka were the only ones left after Walpurgis and Madoka made her promise she wouldn't leave her past self become a Mahou Shoujo I will not forget the promise I made with you I swear that I’ll always keep it with me I close my eyes and the memory Clears the darkness clouding my way The future blinked away so fast before our eyes Will we ever get the chance to redeem that too early goodbye?
