| Refreshing episode after, in my opinion, a fairly weak 2 episode opening to a new arc. The talking body parts has got to be Trafalgar Law's doing. He did a very similar thing during the escape from the human auction place on sabaody. Excited to (hopefully) see him again as he and his crew were very intriguing. An island split between lava and ice? After just being informed of the duel between Aokiji and Akainu, this stands out the most so far. I definitely support the theory that this is where the battle took place. Aside from those two things, I don't know what to make of the other new characters that have appeared. Some smokey guy who looks to be some sort of scientist, and a lot of strange creatures on the island. Reminds me a lot of Thriller Bark. I have high hopes for this arc after a slow Fish-man island arc. Hopefully it wont drag too much. |

I was quite confused and spent nearly 10-20 minutes Googling terms that might answer my question but to no avail. You're right, a similar flipped frame appears in the episode. (And very good eye. You must've had to do some delicate skimming through the episode to find it.) So what we can conclude is that the animation team INDEED felt like being artsy, by changing Luffy's skin orange and removing his eyes... (in other words, this episode's title card seemed to be more than just a color edit!) And that, you're saying, every once and awhile, the animation team INDEED "mixes things up", so to speak... Because I DID check the previous episode and they changed the tone of the dragon from red to gray. But then I checked some other episodes in this arc and the title card was quite normal. I can't believe there aren't any similar discussions out there. But you've definitely cured an uncomfortable curiosity so thanks again for the comparison screenshots. |
| There's a lot of mythical creatures in Punk Hazard for some reason and it's possible that the mad scientist in the mountains might be responsible for this. Either way, the secret behind this island will be revealed in the next episode. |

| Omg that was Mayuri voice from Bleach. lol Ryusei Nakao finally playing Canon character in One Piece, previously he was voicing Erik from that filler arc before Grand Line. That guy in the room reminds me of Buggy Devil Fruit power Bara Bara no Mi. |

| Getting the introduction of the main characters for this arc. The guy with the split body while still being alive. From who we've seen it would suggest Law's doing, but during the fight we saw alongside Luffy, he was swapping parts around rather than just splitting and leaving them. Since they've also been mentioning a Seven Warlord, another guess is Doflamingo. We've not been shown much specifics of his power other than body manipulation. But with the way he moves his fingers and the way the people moved, my guess would be thin wires. Although if it was Doflamingo like that, it raises the question of how the people are still alive. Third theory is whoever split the guy up and the Seven Warlord are different people. |

| Well it looks like Law is involved. Maybe his crew got captured and he fighting to get out? It seems like the villain could be a warlord. As of now we know the warlords are 1) Hawkeye 2) Kuma 3) Hanncock 4) Flamingo There 3 openings with Jinbae, Moria, Blackbeard/Crocdile out. Could they have promoted law to a warlord? It seems unlikely due to his personality. We know it’s not hanncock and I’d be surprised if Kuma (due to him being a robot) and this does not feel like Hawkeye. So maybe this arc is flamingo centered? But I have a feeling we could have 3 new warlords and one of them will be center stage here |
