| It was interesting to see Gen and Neko's fighting history but I'm also interested in seeing their lives during the wartimes and after that as well. Ippo already has a monstrous right hand punch so seeing him deliver a feint with killing intent before landing a killer right hook will definitely make things a lot more thrilling than ever! Takamura being able to fell a bear with his bare hands is such an impressive feat and seeing him cry while eating the very bear he spared for the sake of her cubs so its death wouldn't be done in vain was both really funny and dark. It reminds me of the time when I tried to stop my relatives from roasting a pig to no avail before being forced to eat it but I really enjoyed it to the point of asking for seconds with tears in my eyes. |

| A Bear ... A BEARRRR !!!!!, Takamura was incredible in that fight, that scar will take him to the history of boxing. He analyzed his opponent regardless of his power (too bad they killed him). |

| What a fun episode! I now have a head canon that Takamura is the type of guy to be ultra tough but then cry watching disney movies. This episode just screams that feeling. Watching Takamura fight someone (or really something) that is way more powerful than him is cool. With Takamura there never really is a sense that he will lose, so seeing another side of him is refreshing. Also I love how the big guy had sympathy for the bear cubs and decided to spare the bear in the end. Too bad it was all for nought. |

| Also, does anyone know the name of the song that played when Takamura fought the bear? The song was so lit. It reminded me of only timey anime music. Slightly more orchestral, very triumphant. It's hard to explain everything that makes those songs sound uniquely from an older time period, but this one definitely fit in. If anyone knows about the song, then please hit me up. |

| LOL i so laughed when takamura fought that bear, the OST helped so it won't be dark but funny xD takamura is just the best character here, that feast scene was so LOL gonna miss neko, truly comedic character. his past with the coach was great. intent kill feint, hope for ippo to master it. |

| Takamura vs tBlack bear has got to be the most manly thing I've seen in an anime. Even though he's getting thrown around injured it definitely adds a lot of substance to his character. I like how he tries to relate this back to his fights in the ring and treats it more like motivation to keep pushing forward against an unstoppable enemy to win. |
