The opening of this episode is strange. Why does Dragon Boy already have those markings and a hero name? Why was he able to dive in freezing water then beat up a group of people? Why was Rock even there? How did Dragon Boy jump to becoming Zero without Rock mentioning it?

@Apratim I think most people were still on board with the Lucky Cyan arc because Cyan is a likeable, normal and humble girl who's not overacting. What drove people away was the Queen and Loli arc. My brother binged episode 1-10 and stopped watching right after Loli EP1, telling me "the anime is not as good as you think".
We both had this conversation that young Queen behaved a bit like Greta Thunberg, a child who knows so much more about the world than people twice or three times her age. And she reminded us of the girl boss trope, because everyone in-universe pretended like Bowa and Cowboy girl didn't exist and Queen was the first female hero. Then Loli came along and was growing up in a priviliged household and invested her energy in a first world problem like "oh nooooo, I'm too cute, how baaaaad is my life, ALL men WITHOUT exception are discriminating against me".
Most people have nothing against positive feminist messages, but they don't want to get punched in the face with it.
I'm saying this again, as a woman, I think the lead writer struggles with introducing female lead characters for some reason. Their first impressions drove people away and made the overall score drop quite a bit, which the anime does not deserve. Those characters were perfectly good when their arcs ended though (I really feel for Loli now and am highly impressed how Queen saved Loli, Nuonuo, The Johnnys and Ghost Blade that day), but first impressions can sadly devalue a character's likeability.

| @Vileste It certainly sounds like people just have issues with feminist messages, especially if you're gonna look at Queen, someone who's hardworking confident and has a goal she's wants to achieve, and your first thought is "Oh god this is just Greta Thunberg!" Like what the hell? Like there's very clearly no issues with the female characters in this show, beyond that apparently don't want to actually see them develop over the course of time, they just want it done automatically. |
| lukewarm episode overall, but we get to see more of X and that makes me very happy, the ending was interesting, I want to see the next ones soon |

| Poor Nice... he got abused and traumatised in becoming the "hero" he is just so that that manager has a super-powered lackey to do his dirty work. All he wanted was to be a cool hero like his idol hero and now he's being made to do this to the man he admires the most. No wonder he decided to end it all. Poor guy. Wish someone could have been there to save him. Also, my suspicions are getting stronger every day: - X's power is coming from only 1 (at least that's how it started) - X's power is that of "imagination". When Smile said the "realist" in him is too realistic and then asked to speak to his alter ego, that's when it really convinced me. Only thing I am dying to know now is: is that power of 1 coming from Smile? I thought it came from himself alone, but did they know each other beforehand? Or after? Is that the power of 1 from Smile and when he dies it comes from himself? I am soooo stoked to find out!!! |

| @atlans89 i just noticed uncle rock drew a moon on dragon boy's forehead when he told him to take down smile, and dragon boy ended up using smile's daughter against him, so your guess really could be a possibility |
| I'm kinda surprised that my opinion on Nice's new boss, the pr lady, has completely flipped. Maybe she still does overwork Nice, but at least she plays by the book and doesn't order assasinations like the other big bosses. And it turns out she's responsible for his suicide. |

We just learned that the company nice worked in , it's head created him as weaponwepone to use to kill e soul and destroy rock, but that plan failed in ep 1 when nice killed himself ( could be the reason of his death) , so my theory starts from here, maybe after he died the company head decided to shift his place to lin ling because he did something that nice could not, get in hero ranking of top 10 , so when in ep 4 moon died it's because he paid someone to dress themselve as e soul and kill moon in front of lin ling so he will hate him more then anything and, when they fight in ranking match he will kill him, and doing so destroy rock and his company, thanks for listening it's my first post and there could some grammar error as eng is not my first language

Never thought that Shand would use killing Moon by someone under the guise of E-Soul would trigger Lin Ling and make him go after new E-Soul and Rock in the hero tournament. Now Shand is using the same trick that Rock used to create the new E-Soul. I thought that Shand might not know that the Original Nice is dead. But it's possible that he knows and still let Lin Ling be Nice because of him making to the top 10 which would help Shand get his revenge on Rock |
