If there's anything they know how to do, it'd be drawing backgrounds, stills, and closeups. That's what really stood out for me in this episode. The action sequence at the end was also sick. Other than that, the show still feels very hollow and empty. I watch it, but I don't gather much. Plot feels very shallow and the pacing is all over the place. It has cool moments and gory shots though, I guess that's all it needs to gain fans. I honestly never understood why this is so popular. I'm glad the fans like the anime adaptation at least, good for them. I'll wait for the show to end to see how much of the manga they adapt. |

| It's interesting that Denji focused on the goo on Power's shirt and that Makima's rear was the focal point of an entire shot for no reason and how Denji slowly stopped caring about Power's wellbeing until the end of the episode. |

| was scared that the pacing wouldve died out towards the end of the episode and left us with not much for the episode but im glad they were able to fit in what they did at the end. good cliffhanger, looking forward to the next episode.
