Clannad is an ADV style VN, which mean its sorta like an RPG/anime cross with the text at the bottom of the screen. FSN is a NVL style, which is a screen size transparent box of text, with Sprites and the background behind it. @Wrong OK wouldn't describe you buddy. | Most things under the TM brand are "in canon" in a way. Though if you're asking is it is necessary to watch it, no. The story has little to do with the story in F/SN, F/HA and F/Z. |

The advice regarding watching order is just simply a very strong recommendation from those who have experienced the full story of F/SN and F/Z. F/Z before F/SN isn't catastrophic, but the experience won't be as good as going F/SN before F/Z (which is also what the authors intended). I watched F/Z before reading F/SN, so I understand the mindset that non-VN readers have, however after reading the VN it was very apparent as to what the ideal order was. |

| I'm really sorry to ask this.. especially in this Topic but could someone please help me out real fast. I've already read the Order in which i should watch this Show but i'm still confused lol. Especially because the Heaven's Feel Movies aren't out yet and the Order says to watch those before watching something else :/ Also the 2nd Season of UBW is not out yet. Do i really have to wait for all this to be released to start watching? I wanted to start now and not wait until some Movies come out. So i have these in my Plan to Watch List.. could someone put them in the right Order for me? Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel (Movie) Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (TV) Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (TV) - Prologue Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (TV) - 2nd Season Fate/Zero Fate/Zero 2nd Season Would it be this? UBW Prologue, UBW, Zero, Zero 2nd Season, UBW 2nd Season, HF Movie I COULD play the VN but i'm not really motivated to do that.. not a big Fan of VN's. |

You can either get Fate/Stay Night unspoiled (which is worth it imo) or you can spoil a lot of the mystery and start with Fate/Zero. The author of FSN and the author F/Z intended the order to be FSN first Zero last if that matters to you. |

However, as long you're aware of the implications and keep your preconceptions in check, going the opposite way won't ruin your experience. You should try giving the VN a shot. It's bit slow at first, but it gets really good later on. It also contains voice acting may help with the tedium some feel when reading. |
