| Had a turkey sandwich, couldn't get to bed on time last night because Thanksgiving sucks. [useless rant incoming] I fucking hate thanksgiving guys. Only because people don't usually let me cook my own shit. I hate bland midwestern food that I'm supposed to gorge in one meal every year. Do you even salt/pepper!? Now, when I get to cook my own shit...last year I slightly brined my turkey. Okay, no salt, but lemon and herbs fosho, it was to die for. Brussel Sprouts and italian sausage, fantastic. Almost made my own gravy but as soon as the turkey is out of the oven people lose control and HAVE TO EAT NOW. I was so hungry by 6-7 o'clock I was going nuts. Going to eat lots today, like I'm supposed to. |
