I mean, that's the same way Ichigo has initially become shinigami. In my opinion, a person that has heavily used their spiritual powers cannot completely lose any sense of the immaterial world. It's not like he lost his soul. As long as part of him is spiritual and he has his experience and history with the spiritual world, he should be capable of sensing more than a regular person. There are even regular people that can feel certain energies or entities out of this world. I think such abilities are not so supernatural after all. |
