You're being reasonable in your replies. But dropping it after 2 episodes is questionable. Even if I have a low expectations, I'd at least watch a quarter of the series. But you do you, at least you know what you like.

Episode 1. If you don’t like it, just drop the show and move on. A 28 episode show wouldn’t be one of the highest rated on this website if it took 10 episodes to get good, but that doesn’t mean everybody has to like it

It gets good right at the beginning. Ep 1 is peak of whole series imo, so consider yourself lucky you have watched it twice already. Well done.
It's a solid 10 'til the end, just skip the dungeon part, too much action. I know it's weird, but that's the best thing in Frieren: the less it happens, the more good it gets.

If you don't like it you don't have to continue. Almost any time you wonder how long something takes to get good, it's not that other people were more patient than you are, it's just that it appeals to them more. The show will probably not appeal to you even if you stick it out for longer.

Yeah, that's why I've decided not to continue. In the past, I've had shows that I dropped, and the picked them back up later to be blown away. However, based on what I've read here I don't think that will be the case.

It’s a very chill vibes show, yeah theres some action but a lot of the emphasis is on frieren dealing with her aging and lost friends and how she moves on. So, if a show like that ain’t ya cup of tea jus drop it who cares lol

It never gets better unfortunately. I sat through all 25 episodes and it was garbage. I was committed only to give it a final review and i will never watch this IP again.

The only show that sucked worse than this is One Piece.

I didn’t like it until episode 7-8-9 or so. There two points where it gets very exciting. First around episode 8. Then around episode 17 or so it takes another jump and becomes amazing

It's maybe not your thing? Has that occurred to you? You should take the first guy's advice: don't hop on an anime because it's popular. As for PEAKren, I was hooked from the first episode. It's a masterpiece. Again, it's not for you so drop it.

Me also. I first watched 2 episodes when it aired and didn’t get hooked so I dropped it. Glad I did. Because the next time I started watching it, all the episodes had already aired and I binged the whole show in a day.

Depends on what you means by good.
Frieren is refreshing because its got good worldbuilding and it focuses on what's life like for a hero after they've saved the world.

I imagine you are looking for action though.
Episode 3 has the first fight. Episode 6 has a dramatic fight scene. Episode 7-10 is when you learn more about the demons. If that small arc doesn't interest you, I doubt the rest of Frieren will.

@Badshah5 I think i had a simlar expirience, i started with the first ep while it aired, but i never continued not untli months afterwards and than i binched in one or two days.

this anime is a solid 8/10 idk why it's ranked first its great sure but its like top 30 for me at best no where near being the best.
characters are not that well written apart from MC itself, story doesn't have any major plot twists or anything like that, character development... i would say is good for most, story development no not really. nothing major really happens, it kinda feels like a slice of life type of anime (although a good one)

The first 4 episodes should be watched together. They were released on the same day and make up the first volume of the manga. They also end on a point that will give you an idea of what the show is actually about, and whether or not you'll enjoy it.

If you absolutely want to watch it, like to check it out on the list or something, just watch it in 2x and the action part start around 18-20 episode mark. You might like the last 10 episodes.
