| @Aika 1) Okarun doesn't seem to want/be able to transform at will, at least until the director needed a cliffhanger. 2) Momo, who spent of all season 1 being Lady Bad-Ass is now all of a sudden unable to defend herself, and gets bitch slapped around like a rag doll. 3) Jiji just decides to be a twit, and gets possessed, even though Turbo Granny warns him multiple times. 4) Turbo Granny talks lots of shit but sure doesn't do a damned thing. 5) Wormboy has Momo and Okarun trying to off themselves, but Jiji is immune because Evil Eye? 6) Evil Eye's suicide aura negates the worm's suicide aura? I suppose if I tried harder I could come up with some more, but these are already making my brain hurt. |

| I figured we’d be seeing Jiji come into his own spiritual power here, but there was no way I could have predicted how it happens, I mean that’s just Dandadan in a nutshell lol. And I actually really like how they tied the ghost backstory in this time, how it happened with Silky before was great but imo it felt out of place, like it didn’t feel like it was part of Dandadan, but this feels like it fit in smoothly, not to mention not overstaying its welcome. Pretty sad stuff tho, this creepy ass lanky ghost was just a poor kid that was born in the wrong place and wrong time, and even in death he was tormented, I don’t completely understand how he took on the form of that kid with the bowl cut but damn was it cool when he possessed Jiji, bro looks absolutely badass, and hey there was even some caked up Jiji in his underwear thrown in there for those that are into that lol. And wow the Mongolian Death Worm was pretty epic here too, it’s not everyday you get to see a giant worm use psychic waves to make its foes take their own lives while also fighting a ghost that does the same thing, and then said ghost possesses someone to kick around a ball of pure hatred like a soccer ball, only in anime will you see something like this lol, I love it man. And we ended on a tease for an upcoming battle between Ken and Jiji, both in their juiced up forms, I’m guessing Jiji eventually gains control like Aira and Ken, but for now we got a throwdown of epic proportions on our hands. |

| So Evil Eye is made of two kids that were sacrificed, did I get that right? It seemed to suggest one merged with the other or took their body or something I dont quite get the implication how that worked. Damn Jiji posessed by that Evil Eye is OP. A lot of cool visuals there. Liked the music this episode too |

| @joemaamah Are you watching the anime? or looking at your phone??? 1 - Okarun can transform whenever he wants since they put turbo granny in the cat 2 - She's been getting slammed against walls since the 2nd enemy appeared 3 - He was manipulated by evil eye flashbacks which made him believe evil eye was good 4 - She lost all her power to Okarun, this is explained multiple times 5 - Jiji is inmune because he is a genius and his spiritual power is off the charts 6 - Valid |

| What a banger of an episode. Evil Eye’s backstory was tragic—not quite on the same emotional level as the Ballerina’s, but still sad. He has every right to be villainous, but his obsession with owning Jiji was definitely selfish. And the episode was stacked with football moments—Momo using her powers to block Jiji’s shot felt straight out of Inazuma Eleven. That leg clash between Jiji and Okarun had me thinking Captain Tsubasa instantly. This episode was chaotic and super fun—and it looks like things are only going to get better from here. |

| Lord Infantino does it again, now we have a footballer yokai on Dandadan just in time for the FIFA World Club Cup finals (? In all seriousness, I really liked this episode once the sad story background was explained. We were missing that link between everything and that was just it. Being subjected to suicide watch for years and years and being able to play, it's like... you know what, I'm skipping the joke this time. In any case, it's time for action and that we'll get as Okarun rejoins the fight. |

| Good GOD! This episode is choke full of pay offs. The soccer reference. The joyful nature jiji has and the stark contrast that evil eye had as a kid. The episode is Still fresh in my mind so getting to write this down should be easy. AND AGAIN MY GOOD GOD THE PAY OFF IS SO SATISFYING. I love it when a story holds you and tells all the details about the character; their interests; their backstories and compare that to a newly introduced characters' background; plot; scheme only for it to overlap and expose more of the detail of the characters. |

| Amazing ep The Serpent Lord's powers are getting stronger and this causes Momo and Okarun to attempt suicide. Jiji braves himself to save them and is are able to escape. The control of the Serpent weakens and the gang is able to get back to the right state of mind. We then learn about the terrible life of evil eye or the first human sacrifice in the village. All he wanted to do is have friends and he was never allowed to do that. He dies and becomes a cursed yokai with a never-ending grudge against all humans, which grants him the power ti bring people to suicide. The guy with the bowl cut that he fused with to get his first body was actually the only family we saw in the manga. The anime added more families to show the passage of time and his difference in appearance. Quick way to elevate the adaptation. Because he didn't know the extent of the abilities that he had, he accidently killed the boy's parents and the long living Kito family sent him as a sacrifice as well. This is where Evil Eye realized he could trust any human ever again after he failed to save him from suffering the same fate as him. Jiji somehow understood Evil Eye's emotions, but got tricked and consumed by him as the perfect host for him. Ngl even as a reader, I never understood why Evil Eye knows how to play soccer, unless it was something that he saw the kids do outside the prison. Jiji will make sure to keep his promise, that's certain. CLUTCH Okarun saves Momo and the famed 1v1 starts next ep. Love the purple theme that Evil Eye has, also those impact frames, and the artistic direction was peak. This ep adapted ch 38-41 10/10 |

| I never know where this show is going... I was on the edge of my seat the whole episode. Not too sure who's doing what right now, but that was disturbing, heartbreaking, concerning, exciting and funny all at once. |
| The earthworm ended up running away. I'm curious what will actually end up happening to it in this arc. Evil eye has become more evil than pitiful, like Jiji wanted to believe. I'm excited to see how Okarun vs Jiji will go next episode. |

| Another solid episode. My only criticism is that I wish there was more buildup towards Evil Eye, so he doesn't just appear out of nowhere. But, hey, he's fricking cool so that's completely excused. Those kicking shots were great. I guess we have an actually evil yōkai now, which will be interesting. Will be be able to manifest whenever he wants to, or will Jiji have to allow him to come out? |
| I did not like that the production decided to make the Kito family look not human. It was part of the horror how freaking human they looked!!! But this episode managed to hype me up real hard with the awakening of the Evil Eye, I got chills!! |
