| May's design seemed to be heavily inspired by 2B Nier Automata. Overall good show. Good writing, although production felt cheap some times. Let's hope season 2 is as good. |
| So many obvious tropes between the eye, the goddess, and May. Why can't the god/goddess be on the protagonist's side for once? Between Shield Hero, Tsukimichi, Saga of Tanya the Evil, Mushoku Tensei, Dragon Maid, and so on and so forth. I could probably keep going if I bothered but I feel like I see it more often than not. Is it just the fascination with a dark and edgy protagonist with a Chuuni complex? Also the Japanese seem to really hate the nobility in tropes so much lol. They always disband the nobility whenever they can, and always play it off as being the sole contributing factor towards keeping people down. Those megacorps are doing just as much damage lol, and they don't care who's ruling. Sigh. |

| I honestly might have liked it a lot better if the goddess being resurrected provided an anchor point for this dystopian world to start improving little by little. It would have been refreshing. The clouds parting and breaking away the constant smog and darkness to reveal light was a beautiful scene that they could have completely changed the context to. Ahhh, no point in fretting about what could have been but it's disappointing regardless. |
| Just a lovesick maiden worrying about her crush and going on a rampage. Anime of the year! One of the best anime soundtracks of 2024. OP song is awesome. The battle between Hero Gram and Kinohara is top notch and unforgettable. I will miss this series until the next. |
| Machina in her flame type suit will always be hot.. Really like the way he used Marcus move to beat May. Blood to bomb easily the coolest move. I wanted more May (and Aoi Koga) but she got taken away I hope she will be rescued in next season. So Meldia was a lovesick maiden throwing a hissyfit. She only got defeated thanks to Gram as well. Well Veltol atleast convinced her that Gram isn't unhappy finally giving her peace. This fight has better animation than Marcus one although that was still better. Good that Hizuki finally freed herself not just from Meldia and the town is well. Glad she left that hellhole and joined with others in Shinjuku. Finally she can be happy. When an anime does a 1.5 min recap with shots of the season with OP in the background is always great. Nice way to end. Great anime, in the top 5 this season for me. Plot didn't seemed that anything special but they exceuted stuff pretty well and interesting way. Veltol genuinely never stops being hilarious one of the best mc again this season. Both SoL and action was good. Solid 7.8/10. Hoping for a another season of famous streamer Mao Veltol Velvet Velshevalt. |

| It was nice! I honestly wouldn't have minded 24 episodes, with some deeper dives before Veltol's defeat. I wonder if it was adapted almost 1:1 from the light novel or if they had to cut stuff to fit into 12 episodes. Either way, I really enjoyed it and hope we get a second season soon! |

| This was so FUN. This show was all I wanted that devil is a part timer didn't have. This episode obviously feels a bit rushed but overall, the show's been great from start to finish. And from JC Staff from all studios, this looked great. Seems they can finally do good looking stuff in things other than just railgun and danmachi lol. 8.5/10 |

| The goddess fight scene dialouge & animation wise was great but the goddess herself as a character was... disapointing. IMHO they shouldnt have censored Hizuki middle finger, surely she has earned the right? This makes me hyped up for OPM S3 animation wise. Although considering how Veltols dragon looked, I think Orochi will suffer the same fate. So when this anime first aired I found that I was liking the ED more than the OP, then as the season went by I found out that my opinions has reversed. As much as I would like to score this anime an 8/10 I have too many minor greivances to hold this anime back. I cant look people in the eyes and say this anime is on the same level as Orb Im sure everyone and their mother is hyped, asking when is Season 2? And so am I. 4/5 7.8/10 |

| Does anyone else feel that Gram should've been the one to lay Meldia to rest whilst calming her regrets? So unless Veltol discusses it with him later down the road, Gram will never know how Goddess Meldia actually felt for him. No closure for Gram and him not knowing the true reason why he was turned immortal. @KiliianSleipnir I imagine that mochi mallet, or kine, is a representation made of solid gold. A kine supposedly represents strength, community, and self-reflection. |

| This show was better than it had any right to be with the abundance of overly used tropes it at least manages to twist a lot of them to be far less predictable within the demon lord genre of LN adapations lol i had a hard time trying to grasp how self aware and comedy focused this show was trying to be because the moment it got serious it always felt like a very chūnibyō in showcasing how cool Vitol was but thankfully the dude is kinda a respectable kind demon lord outside of his aggroant like personality which i mean its fitting for a demon lord to act that and they do play it up as though hes roleplaying with the vutber subplot...also yeah that stuff this very much was a post vtuber era LN huh and for how rushed this last arc was it at least did away with it ending in less bloodshed and the main baddie gets away leaving you at least a bit interested enough...to almost buy the source "the anime has done its job" since even i'm a tad bit curious to who the sexy nun May is another waifu to add to the army of waifus surely? 6.5/10 i didn't fall in love with this like everyone else but it for sure wasn't that bad maybe even good ,a surprise of the season for something that totally could've been total trash kept things fresh enough |

| Show was visually great to see, the characters were a bit bland...until Hizuki showed up. The story was ok. Overall I give it a 7/10 |

| 2nd arc was much more interesting, which is bullshit because the 1st one was tailored to my tastes and fell short in every possible way. the animation was still poor to the point I laughed, but not as bad as the cgi dragon episode. |

| This one took me by total surprise. Can't believe how much I enjoyed this. Really hope we get a second season. Also this show had one of the best sound designs ever. Holy hell did it slap. |
| Both the opening and ending songs were absolutely fire!!! I love how they set the vibe perfectly from the start, and everything just hit different way more than any other anime. Hope Season 2 drops soon!!! |

| I am really confused on why the hero didn't recognize the Goddess, when just 2 episodes earlier he was aware that she is in Akiba. Really weird, I feel that they are skipping a lot of details to rush the end of the arc, which leaves a lot of questions unanswered. The manga translations are really behind, I hope someone will pick it up, maybe that would answer more questions, as the manga seems a bit darker and has stuff the anime lacked. 8/10 ... with indulgence. |

| Enjoyed watching this a lot. Reminds me of the first time I watched Hataraku Maou-sama. All main characters have likable personalities and it was quite the fun watch. Though the Marcus dude was a textbook villain, his secretary on the other hand was hilarious to watch with her elite English accent. Good job Itou Shizuka-sama! |

| what even is this ending lmao what a joke and a really shitty way to end an otherwise fairly unique tensei series...The plotline around the factions in the city was way more interesting in this sudden last minute goddess appearance and silly tantrum over some stupid shit. |
| Wish origin creators decided if they want to have it fantasy or scifi cyberpunk type before creating it... They can't combine both because its quite the opposite genres. |
| What a great finale (even if it felt a tad bit rushed), always happy to see the two bros, Veltol and Gram, working together to claim victory. Really enjoyed this and hope for a second season, even if its gonna be in a decade or so. |

| Interesting plot developing, tho not sure if there'll be a season 2 or not. (judging by how most ppls are saying this series isn't popular) . Tho, I do have to point out, that at the end, Meldia gets "stabbed" by the sword that cuts souls. Meldia was saying she was going to "disappear"... But... she didn't actually... she's simply just gone back into the Orb thing as unsummon... LOL . Which would be interesting if Meldia comes back as another powerful ally to fight against the apparently new world Evil that's even more powerful than Machina and possibly rival the Demon Lord himself. But it would also be a awkward moment if Gram found out Meldia is inside Hizuki... LOL |
