| The amount of feels was crazy. Auras and DBZ shit in general are neglectable when the episode is legendary like this. Very happy with the visual direction and storyboard in general. Luffy's presence on the battlefield is inspiring hope, everyone believes in him and since he's a man worth fighting for your performance is peak. I loved how the anime put more emphasis on that here. Luffy splitting the sky is a monumental moment that cemented his position as a big shot and some more scenes with everyone around that was needed. From Zoro and Sanji to Yamato quoting Oden's journal, it was just nice. Like this were easy examples of padding done right. Know the source and add stuff to make it more epic when it's apt. With the clouds out of the way Inu and Neko were also able to settle the score. You loved to see it. The OST for them could've been better, but overall they picked some great ones for scenes like Momonsokuke learning to fly. |

| Agreed with AhriTheS3xyFox, the auras and special effects are devaluing everything. While the first episodes of one piece will always be a classic this shit isn't even watchable now tbh, it looks cheap, let alone in 10years will be unwatchable trash. I felt more the power of yonkos when shanks and whitebeard clash and split the sky. |

| Luffy's influence is iconic Looks like the battle's on 1v1 But that clash though, filled to the brim with Conqueror's Haki THEY EVEN SPLIT THE SKY Luffy has fcking passed the Yonko test What was that, did Yamato just get an eyecatcher!?!?!?! Straw Hat confirmed even further?! No music on it though, as no Yamato theme exists It sure is awkward to have no acknowledgement from Kaido though Good going for Momo And now Neko and Inu have really shown their strength and tore some ass apart |
| Luffy is back and is finally clashing with Kaido once more, his mere presence alone sways the hearts of his allies and invigorates them to fight until the end. An unfathomably massive morale boost! And here Luffy and Kaido clashed with the force great enough to split the heavens, they are both in the level of a great pirate already, the winner will take a step closer to becoming a legendary pirate, THE pirate King. Nekomamushi and Inuarashi battle ended the moment the sky is split and the moonlight shone from the hevens down to them. Gotta applaud how they don't fuck around once the chance came, Jack and perospero are done for. |
