Maybe it just draws less and less viewers while other shows get all the hype. Also 0.2% change is merely nothing. I wouldn't care about it if I were you.

Like Bleach is not even in top 50... which is more than absurd, when it comes to shonen, it's the head of the competition. Cowboy Bebop is nowhere near the top despite being the best written japanese animation as of yet.

These numbers only represent the opinion of this site's users. Another thing is, AoT has ratings from 1/6 people compared to HxH (~143k vs ~905k, only taking into count the latest series). The lower number means the rating is easier to manipulate because a single vote represents a larger percentile value. HxH would need a six times larger rating input to show the same change as AoT ratings. Why would AoT fans organize themselves to bring down HxH ratings but not of other shows? Makes no sense imo. This is not a turf war. :D It's viewer fluctuation. The more people see something, the bigger the chance that some of them will not like it.

One last thing, just to think about. What are these ratings for? For new viewers to find out if it's worth looking into a show, maybe? Ultimately nobody will decide wether to watch something solely on the rating it got, that's stupid. And if a million people rated something 9.10, that's a very solid rating. 9.12 is higher, yes, but completely irrelevant. 8< ratings mean there is very little spread in viewer opininions. It's pretty uniform with a few exceptions.

Ratings will just fluctuate naturally. Fake accounts that spam 1s and 10s don't get counted in the score.

Bro you're thinking too much. The rating didn't change much. Scores change from time to time, and blaming a certain fanbase for it is kinda cringe. It can be from any fanbase from the Top 10 lol take care.

MAL ratings don't mean much. Just look at all the recent 10/10 and 1/10 Attack on Titan "reviews" that are spamming the site. In any system where people can give things inaccurate scores just to "tip the scales", the scores are meaningless.

Hunter x Hunter changing by 0.1 / 0.2 means nothing. I've watched shows rated 8/10 or 9/10 that I thought were terrible, and I've seen shows rated 5/10 that I really enjoyed. Just watch what you like and don't worry about what the rankings say.

To be honest though, anything showing up in the top 100 is an impressive score if you really think about how much is out there.

Threads about ranking and/or scores just encourage flame wars between people who liked the show and people who disliked it. They don't promote any kind of actual discussion.
