An anime inspired by fairy tales and ballet ? Count me in ! I loved the art direction and the atmosphere, and the story seems interesting. Also, Ahiru is truly adorable, and I love her unique voice.
The only thing I'm kinda bothered with is that cat guy, I really wonder what is up with him.
Overall, that's a great first impression, this show has the potential to become a favorite of mine, I hope it'll turn out being as great as I expect it to be !
this is so so so so so SO so so so charming?? ot at least it's incredibly charming to me.
ahiru is our usual cute ditzy shoujo protagonist but yk what i love her. also rly like her voice, maybe its bc there aren't a lot that sound like this anymore but im a big fan of it. her friends are also pretty fun lol, the one who always dotes on her and the more rational one. perfectly balanced trio
mytho is also our classic lonely prince ml, nothing that interesting out of him atm aside from him jumping out of the window trouser-less. (he also selflessly helps without hesitation but trouser-less window jumping was just way more memorable i mean what the hell man)
i thought fakir was gonna be the second ml but he's kind of mean .. and scary. rly scary. that "dont make me worry, idiot" gives me hope of him not being an absolutely terrible person tho
op and ed are just enchanting. love them sm. and the music pieces they play, bigggg fan. im not an expert in it or anything but i love these, swan lake and nutcracker team justtt gah i love it. dancing part is ? Eh? ig. again im no way near an expert but it didnt feel that great for me. not that it matters so much tho, i still enjoy them they're still cool
like another person said before me, charming is the perfect word to describe this episode. it was very captivating and unique, im excited to see what happens next
I really like this, I can't say much about it yet since it's the first episode but I will say I like how this looks, especially the character designs done by the creator of this, Ikuko Itoh, from what I can tell, which is probably going to be very limited compared to a majority of people who post on discussion boards on MAL, is something that rarely happens the only other time I can think of is Little Witch Academia.
I guess me liking the designs makes sense since Itoh was one of my favorite animation directors on Sailor Moon her work on that is really good.
