I explained earlier that people don't use the terms "pretty" and "ugly" to refer to clothes and hairstyles, they use these terms for facial features, and then I said that anime characters' FACIAL features don't have much diversity. Who are you to say what I base my personal criteria on? What I find appealing and what I don't? Just because you don't use the term "pretty" and "ugly" to define those specific characteristics then what makes you think that I wont? Saying a character is ugly because of certain hair or clothes is fair game. They are wearing the clothes, and using the hairstyle... until they stop doing so then that character is infact ugly. You're not making any sense. Here is what I think, I'm thinking that someone called the characters above (since you used it as an example) ugly, or at least one of them. | It was hard for me to take Code Geass seriously because of those character designs. Also Shiki but it was only the hair that was weird but it was tolerable on some characters. My sister refuses to watch stuff like One Piece and Dragon Ball because she thinks the characters are too ugly. I refuse to watch it because it tortures my soul to watch such long shows. Also I want to punch Ash from pokemon in the face. Not because his face is ugly, more because of his constant stupid expression. |

She's beyond shallow and delusional, her obsessive and pathetic attempts to try to constantly win the affection of the series' ultimate worst character exemplifies this perfectly. And, I know what some people might say....A LOT of anime girls are shallow....true, but most of those are in specific romance oriented anime. Sakura is in a heavy battle shounen story with little to no romance aside from her stupid antics.
