| Aight this season was alr off to a banger for future seasons cause god damn this is the top romcom animes of all time fr or might even be the best one. This first season anime is such a masterpiece and i can tell it's gonna get better even with such little development. I might think abt makin this anime into my favs someday at least until i complete till season 3. 8/10 and it's gonna improve again i can tell from this point on. but Kaguya and Shirogane tho they cute asf still sjkskjk. |

| this was emotional for me, Hayasaka the MVP here playing as Kaguya while the real Kaguya went out to try and meet up with her friends to see the fireworks while Miyuki was determined to find her. Miyuki having regrets about what he said to Kaguya after he found her was kinda funny, but what he said was really nice and his intentions to bring Kaguya to see the fireworks no matter what were genuine, he is a real man. Taxi driver brought them to the fireworks so quick before it was too late, also an MVP. Both Miyuki and Kaguya were so shy they couldn't even talk to each other when they came back to school. 10/10 series. I'm excited to watch the next season and see Miyuki and Kaguya eventually grow a little closer. |

| Nice final to the season. Rewatched 1st season before getting to the sequel I haven't seen yet and it is as good as it was when I watched it for the first time :) |

| Can't say that wasn't fun to watch, but maybe after watching almost all rom-com anime, this didn't impress me yet in the span of 12 episodes, all the main plots were confined in 2 mcs, some Chika and later Ishigami so there wasn't much variety or different sceneries, I hope this changes in S2 It had its moments but there was little to no actual progression -although still better than Takagi-san- much of the hype for this 1st season was by manga fans seeing it animated with a decent adaptation but I don't see what makes it so high rated, but I am hopeful, on to S2 |
| admittedly, i wasn’t really too much of a fan of kaguya in the beginning. really just due to that snobby rich girl feel i was getting from her. but this episode definitely had me warm up to her a little more. everything handed to you on a silver platter, but ultimately being lonely :,) i had put this anime off for about a year, and it was definitely a fun watch ^^ and of course i luv my boy ishigami best (*´κ³`*) |

| Absolutely beautiful with the firework scene. - Very over the top drama wise but it worked really well here. Was scared the dodging and games they keep playing was gonna get old fast but it didn't. The maturity of the writing and the comedy really helped it stay grounded and fun to watch. Loved it! |

| it dragged on a little too much (planes with their faces imposed on, why?), and it still counts as a bittersweet ending, but first half was powerful and made this episode still one of the best of the series. Hayasaka had such a great plan able to make Kaguya escape, Shirogane had the perfect sixth sense moment just in time, didn't expect to have the bunch to actually succeed in watching "hana-bi"s directly from the car but better than nothing, and she couldn't even listen to begin with. Impossible to not be amused when he actually thinks at everything he's done after returning to school thinking about his reputation. Oh, well, not every joke / plot worked, never been convinced by some main characters and episode 1 in 2021 made me think i would have disliked the series. Not a masterpiece, but it entertained enough and some moments hit hard for personal reasons. 7,5 (8 at best) / 10, thinking about a brief hiatus before going on with season 2. |

| With how much people were hyping an adaptation of "chapter 45," I was honestly expecting more, but it turned out to be fairly standard romcom development. Still, this is one of the better romcoms so far. It will only reach the next level for me if they actually get together, and not in the last 2 episodes of the series (more development of the side characters would be nice too). |
| Before watching this, I knew of Ai Hayasaka and I thought she was going to be some outgoing gyaru friend of Kaguya’s on the student council. Sort of like a Marin Kitagawa personality. So I’m pretty surprised she was actually Kaguya’s maid, is fairly serious and has a bit of a deadpan personality. Even till the end it throws me off, but it makes me like her even more than I would’ve. |
| That was a heartwarming finish to the series. I remember starting this show years ago and put it off after the first episode kind of feeling conflicted about it, but rewatching it it slowly grew on me as the eps went on, and found it funnier than i expected it to be. It actually gave me a lot of School Rumble vibes (real ones know π) and while i wouldn’t say i loved it as much as that and some eps were def stronger than others, i’d give it an 8/10. I also never thought Kaguya would become one of my favorite anime characters but there ya go lol. |

| I don't really like how they played that last scene up for laughs. I wish Kaguya had been able to say what she felt instead of Shirogane taking it the wrong way, kinda retroactively stomped on how heartfelt the fireworks scene was. That unironically lost it a point for me. Overall though, a lot of fun and shockingly well directed for a romcom. Out of what I've seen it's definitely one of the best of it's genre. |

| I can see why this anime became so popular, despite it being just a standard rom-com Positives: - Lovely fun characters - All characters have great chemistry with each other - Nice atmosphere - It feels refreshing this rom-com - Even the serious moments were entertaining Negatives: - An episode is divided in 3 segments, and not all segments are funny nor fun to follow around, that I do wished that this anime was 10-episodes instead of 12-episodes. - It is not only divided in 3 segments per episode, but it is also episodic (even if each episode connects with the previous), that as the anime goes along, you find yourself less motivated to watch the next episode and finish the anime. - Just a pet-peeve: the anime does the whole "our beautiful woman characters are all pure" (female MC, pink hair girl). Meaning, they have never even bumped shoulders/arms with a male before. Like, come one, be so for real. Enough with the cliche of beautiful woman characters who are still "Pure". I rather that they just dont bring up that "issue" since it always comes off as unrealistic. And same with the male MC, with the anime "mocking" him for being a virgin. With all that said, a unique fun anime for what it is. It deserves its praise, however, due to the negatives mentioned, I have no interest in continuing this anime journey with its following seasons, and thus I end my journey with this anime franchise after watching this season 01 |

Hands down probably best A1 work since Shinsekai Yori. Really a masterful adaptation. But what makes me sad we probably will never get a s2 πͺπͺπͺ
