| i was waiting for exactly that moment to happen! since the beginning i always thought that one of them will probably die and that's the reason for okabe to go back in time/switch world lines again and again. i'm pretty sure they won't get rid of mayuri (yet), like she'll definitely be alive or "come back to life" for some time because okabe changes something, but it's still thrilling. this episode was really great. i had goosebumps at the beginning and at the end. the beginning was wonderful and made me really curious. the animations and music were also really well done, especially at the end. but it didn't surprise me that moeka turns out to be the bad guy (at least in that current world line). anaaga said: same thoughts here! but i think it would be great. i really love anime that are not afraid to have a sad or at least bittersweet ending and that let characters stay dead (or make it impossible to save them, no matter how many times the mc tries).Hmmm ok here's my theory of what will happen in the future eps. But maybe this is a common theory. I'm just too slow to realize this xD I hope I'm wrong though. | When Okabe let Moeka use the microwave-phone (name subject to change) to send a D-Mail, and the world shift happened, I really wanted to know what she did... but the whole business with her no longer being there, and the IBN 5100 being gone... I figured she just stole the computer. The next world shift kinda distracted me... Now I really wonder what she actually did... was she trying to keep them from using the IBN? Shooting Mayuri in the head was waaaay to cold for her to have suddenly gotten involved with SERN... so she must've been with them from the start, right? But why was a freak like her working for SERN in the first place? was it an act? They definitely have to save Mayuri somehow, after all, someone did something and saved "Christina" after she died in the first episode... |

| Awesome episode! Really loved the interactions between the characters, especially Okarin and Kurisu. Moeka betraying the lab members was really unexpected. I probably should have expected one of them to betray them but I wouldn't have expected it to be Moeka! Really hoping that somehow Mayuri is saved T_T I can't imagine the show without her. |
