| Really hope that’s the end of the foxy arc. Anyway that’s the most terrified I’ve seen Robin. This admiral most be OP. Even more than smoker. Also hope we finally get some of Robin back story coming up. |
| Something to note here but during these two episodes I keep seeing scenes of Chopper and Nico Robin just literally bonding over the board game they are playing on the Going Merry. And I think that's pretty wholesome right there because it shows that Nico Robin herself is really comfortable being around the Straw Hats which means somewhere in the near future she's going to refer to everyone in the Straw Hats by their names rather than referring to them by their role in general, which is pretty much a neat bit of development from her character because I honestly see her as a mother figure to Chopper and again it's pretty wholesome to say the least. Really liked that they had Nami use her Clima-Tact on Foxy's crew when they were using their machines on her and Luffy. Honestly after Skypiea, it just feels like Nami gets sidelined a fair bit thus making her Clima-Tact barely used in a combat situation so I'm glad they are letting her do that again here. Speaking of Luffy, he was utterly hilarious when he's just sitting in the Altrium just eating rice crackers and drinking tea while he waits for Nami to arrive. That was priceless. Zorro defending Luffy from Foxy was another reason why I think the two of them make a great duo in general. Finally we are introduced properly to Admiral Aokiji in this episode. And from the looks of it, Nico Robin knows who he is and the Admiral himself seems to know Nico Robin. His presence alone is enough to make the usually cool, calm and collected Robin to fall down onto her knees. Even Zorro's nervous about this Admiral because he senses something's up with this guy. Finally we are going back to more serious stuff in One Piece and also FOXY IS GONE FOR GOOD AT LAST! The filler arc is technically finished because I'm done with Foxy's part of the arc but the last two episodes I guess will focus on the Admiral which is good for me in the very least. So yeah looks we're heading for bigger and better things from here on out. Personally can't wait to see what Aokiji intends to do with the Straw Hats next time. |
