| I am so NOT CONVINCED by the convenient ending but I guess this is all they can think of to wrap up the season quickly. ┐('～`；)┌ And yeah, darn, we still didn't see that kiss. S2 pales much in comparison to S1. If they ever do S3, I hope it will be tonnes better. Still, it's kind of sad that there's no more new episodes of Yumepati waiting to be watched every sunday... I will miss Yuuki Aoi's voice :( |
| Ok season. I thought it was rushed and the story line..well..bleh. I enjoyed the first season more than this one. This particular ending was so so. The tie was just a dumb idea and I agree with some of the points someone said earlier about leaving what they started and going to London. If there is a season 3, I hope it leads to Amano's dream she was having earlier when she had her own shop with her husband....Like that would happen though. |

But this season all we get is a few comments about how they like each other, but no real moments or development (unless you count that one in the mountain in the Sweets Kingdom). Kashino suddenly shouting for Ichigo to stay with him forever just seems really sudden and out of character. I know they like each other, and I like Kashigo, but I felt that scene was a stretch. Johnny should have never been written into the show. I never liked his character, and any respect he gained from me was lost when he switched sides. As for the heiress, I love her laugh, but even that got to be stale this season. She never stopped. And UGH we didn't actually see the kiss. Waited 63 episodes for it too. Why would they go help a Marry's Garden in London? That would just mean abandoning the shop they were put in charge of AGAIN. I don't even see why Henri acknowledged their success. He is normally such a prick, so I thought he would be angry that Hanabusa and Andoh were helping out despite not really being part of the team. And he assigned Johnny to work with them, so I don't know why he didn't care about him defecting to Miya' side (though I suppose he can't go against Chateau Seika). I have a problem with accepting Johnny's feelings for Ichigo as well. Koshiro has loved Makoto since before the show even started. So we have had 50+ episodes of her pining over him and cooking up schemes to be with him. Johnny knew Ichigo for like a week and decided he was in love. I can't accept that. And (I don't remember her name anymore), but WHY was that bitch from season one who helped Miya cheat hanging out with Rumi and co. and helping Ichigo? She should be shunned from being anyone's friend after what she did last season. Screw her. If season three is going to be like this, I don't want another one. I miss the feel of the first season, and the character interactions. This season changed too much and it wasn't long enough to develop the way I would have liked. 6/10. Wow, that is my longest rant/post ever. That truthfully made me wake up a bit, your actually quite right in alot o ways. |

| What I think this season was missing compared to the 1st was the whole friendship building and just the relaxing/funny moments of Ichigo learning to cook. i think compared to many other animes the friendships felt real in this anime because they weren't friends straight away they built it up. Also seeing Ichigo screw up but always stand up and try again was really inspirational. Because of the two year time gap, which I think is a great idea they just pulled it off a little wrong. Its like in those 2 years ichigo can magically cook flawlessly which is a possibility with the training she got in France. But I guess I just missed seeing them having to make up/ decide on recipes and the thrill of the competition they were in. Ok ok Im gonna stop rambling now I guess this season wasn't as... Original and heart warming as the first. lets just hope that they DO make a 3rd season and that they DONT RUSH and make stupid shoujo cliches. Sorry for my ramble too~ |
| ;n; nuuuu I'm going to miss it so much! However, anyone who says this second season was better has gotta be a little messed up, it was just a buncha filler :/ Still though, I loved that fluffy ending <3 Makoto's adorable. I only wish Miya and Johnny would get outta the way. Miya and her dumb laugh, Johnny and his obnoxious "American accent" ugh no thank you. I definitely need to read the manga now :'D |

| As some of you guys, I also felt that this season lost its original touch. I guess the only thing that I liked about it are the new looks for characters... well, some of them. Others just looked as the same as the other season, just taller. xP And most of the story plots felt like fillers to me! Seriously, why did they have to make a new character: Johnny? Honestly, I hated the guy,especially when he betrayed his own team. That's just plain low. As for Kashino and Ichigo, all they really did about it was just blush or something any time someone would mention about their feelings toward another. It wasn't 'til the last episode of the season that we saw progression between the two with Kashino hugging Ichigo. Heck, we didn't even see the two KISS! Dx A Marie's Garden in London? Dude, when I heard that, I immediately thought to myself that Henri-sensei is spoiled. Wanting this, wanting that... *sigh* If this show had a third season, I'd watch it, but I wouldn't be that into it like I was with the first season. 1st season: 8/10 2nd season: 6/10 |

| I'm hoping for a 3rd season. There was really no development in this season between the characters. I think that they would have made a much better storyline showing us what had happened in Paris instead. I would have loved to have seen all their adventures and Makoto x Amano's love secretly /notreally/ grow while they were in Paris. They really left us hanging and such and it just seems like they were trying to make as many episodes as possible... Johnny was entertaining but Silly Americans and their spontaneous love lol jkjk I didn't like his change of attitude when he went over to Koshiro's side there wasn't that fun aspect anymore like the time he jumped out from the bushes like a potato monster...good times... It really did just seem like a filler season or a fan pleaser season so I hope there's a 3rd where it's more developed. I also agree with what GarLogan78 said. |

| This season just felt rushed. I don't know, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first 50 episodes. I kind of felt that there was this huge buildup of romantic tension between Makoto x Amano with a letdown, I mean...I wanted to *see* them kiss, really. At least this was a happily ever after... |

| I didn't even know it has only 13 eps. I was reading the discussion for ep13 while watching it then I knew it going to end. I was like WHAT!, felt like just the beginning of the story and there goes the sudden ending. |

| Somehow, the sudden appearance of romance-y scenes between Ichigo and Kashino seemed really out of place. In the end, this ending actually didn't leave me feeling satisfied... and the thing with the tie really annoyed me. I mean, seriously? AGAIN? Wasn't there something exactly like this in the first season where there was some sort of miraculous tie? Bahh... 6/10 for me. I really think that this second season really lacked the particular charm that the first had... |
| the ending was great but im hoping for 3rd season but i think it will never happen.. first season was greater than this second season though.. and mari cut her hair short.. it sucks she looks older.. 10/10 for the 2 seasons because i relly love this anime series and i will miss it.. ^^ |

| I don't get why everyone hates Miya when she's the one who brings every moment go perfect at the end. I'm glad they end the anime at least with a kiss though I'm hoping for another season with lots of romance between Makoto and Ichigo ^^. 7/10 |
| I give it a 6/10 I really enjoyed the first season, and because of the great opening I had high expectations for the Ichigo x Makoto pairing, but it wasn't that romantic or great at all x_x most of the episodes felt like fillers, I missed the "fight for love" that I guessed there would be cause of the opening and the only romantic scene felt odd. Such a shame. Edit :The thing I also don't get is, why did they make a new team A in school, when they didn't even cooked once together x-x |

Shugo Chara Party all over again. Anyways, I heard YumePati diverged during the Grand Prix, when they were facing the team that was really good at making sweets with fruits. The manga finished recently too. If they had just waited two more years, they could have made an amazing adaptation. After they went to Paris the story was extremely rushed, and the second season was a filler mess. If they were going to make a second season anyway and be all anime-original, I think the second season should have been the Paris competition and been more than 13 episodes, but that is just a dream. The second season even started with a good premise, but with only 13 episodes it couldn't even really cover what the first episode set out to do. Johnny was an annoying and unnecessary character. Kashino didn't need a rival for Ichigo. They should have already been closer after the first season confession, and the other Sweets Princes are already competing for Ichigo's affections. I could continue to rant, but it is tiring thinking of how disappointing the second season was compared to the first one. |

| This was kinda disappointing. Much worse than 1st season. The characters basically do nothing for whole series, except for maybe last 3 episodes. Ichigo lacks the energy and determination she had in 1st season. She is just so plain now. Just when I thought that I won't have to hear Koshiro's annoying laughter again, she comes back, and furthermore, she brings her equally useless cousin with her. It was nice to see Lemon back, at least. The show was okay, but I really expected so much more. |
| Meh ending and second season for an enjoyable Season 1. Ichigo x Kashino ending was quite though and I'm glad to see them being successful. |

| saw this with my gf. we finished tonite. time to read the manga. thoughts on season 2.. it was quite a change from s1. more mature. Ichigo's hair never got tied up like her old hair style. Johnny was an ass. Koshino was an ass. I Guess Henri will never return Mari's love. unless I read the manga off to read the manga season 1 was def better. you never see the school after ep 1 in s2 lol |
