| I used to hear about this show so much, as for the first episode, this was mediocre at best. I hope I'm proven wrong. |
| I like how this episode starts with a shutdown of the server and nothing happens in the world. Just the character sitting there waiting .... and the NPCs become more lively. Looks promising. |
| I don't know what to expect. I only added this to my watchlist because some are recommending to read the light novel to learn Japanese. I'm still unsure of my feelings, but it may get better. After all, its score is pretty high. |

| Finally tried watching this and the first episode was quite enjoyable. I'm not too familiar with this kind of isekai concept (haven't watched the popular Sword Art Online either) so I was a bit surprised the mc suddenly got isekai'd just like that.... |

| ... Why is this even a video game? What was the point? Why not just following the adventures of Momonga, a skeleton mage in a fantasy world without any of this Isekai nonsense? There's been a running trend in anime to incorporate RPG video game mechanics in fantasy worlds for no reason, often only detracting from the creativity possibilities of a fictional world. It's become an insipid referential mess. |
| Found this show through my hunger for pretty cool op mc-esque Isekai and this first episode is cool! Wonder how villainous or heroic the mc is gonna get in future episodes/seasons because I liked him a lot. |

| This was an interesting beginning, the game yggdrasil keep playing despite its shutdown and what's more is that all the NPC started to act more lively as if they're real life people and there's a big amount of change in the game interface but thankfully he's fully maxed boss character so let's see how it's played out. I really love albedo's character design, it's quite unique and remind me of jibril from NGNL except unlike jibril who's an angel, albedo looks more like a succubus who's gonna milk the bone daddy dry lol, Momonga sure is so damm lucky to change albedo's character settings and made her as his own love interest right before everything changed. (·ω·) The opening song is really great but the ending song is pure fire, albedo took the entire spotlight and she absolutely nailed it in the ending song visual with her hotness, she reeks yandere and I'm all for it.( ﾟヮﾟ) |
| Having your NPCS come to life and start talking is quite the surprise. I know the average gamer would be met with contempt, as we can't resist reaping havoc on them. The MCs VA has such a great range. I can't believe the inside voice and skeleton voice come from the same guy. |
