| The character designs in this are certainly different from previous Haruhi anime, but it's not too bad. Also, this time plane isn't too surprising to those who watched the movie. |

| i understand that fans loved the nagato from the alternate timeline from the disappearance movie. but it's just feeling taking it too far lol. more over, as a shouju, this could have much better story. but what we have here is kinda thin story about making club party and turkey. i mean, what? never the less it was pretty funny. at times at least. |
| Reminiscent but off. The style makes kyon look the most different out of everyone. Yuki pretty sure has the same VA but the personality change makes it sound way different. Overall for an alternate timeline/universe these are all fitting for it. |

| Mmmhh, this one not being by KyoAni makes it feel really off. The characters look slightly different, more detailed, sure, but they just don't feel like the original ones. Seems to be more of a romcom in this case. I just hope the episodes from here on out are enjoyable. |

| already seen this pilot some years ago, but decided to give this series a real chance before the "official" rewatch for Myanimelist for the main series. In early 2012 i discovered the italian release of the manga but unfortunately it was discontinued soon, after just three volumes if i can remember obviously all bought soon. It wasn't as good as the main plot but i was (well, still am after all this time) so in love with Haruhi that i would have easily got into every media regarding her, even if here there is no supernatural element and she isn't even the main character. This is a honestly slow start (and the first volume was the one that stayed the most in my memories) and even if i'm not a fan (as usual) of the c-word holiday season, at least this time it will be faced immediately and left behind soon. Ryoko Asakura somehow is still freaky, especially if she has a knife. Gave for granted this was still made from KyoAni but it isn't... whatever. Don't have the highest expectations but this series still means a lot to me and it's amusing to be aware that Tomokazu Sugita is in my two favorite anime series in existence... when Kyon was in front of a hot pot with two more people, all i could think about was obviously: "If that is sukiyaki, you know what to do... steal the meat, and re-enact Gintama masterpiece episode 25, yeah." |
