| I found out two hours after it happened. I'd just gone over to my friend's house around midnight, and it was on the news channels. When we flicked to the music channels, it was all Michael Jackson. We stayed up until about 5am, my friend was a big fan, and I grew up listening to MJ so we were both in disbelief. It really doesn't seem real. He's like the last icon, what he did for the music industry and black community is unparalled. I hope he's remembered for that, and not the way he was perceived by the press. RIP King of Pop. |

| I live in Sweden so he died at 23.15 or something like that for us here because of the timezones so I didn't find out until the next day. So when I got up I heard from my dad that Michael Jackson had died and I got really suprised and kind of sad. He actually made alot of great music and I hope that's what he will be remembered for. |

| :) i don't believe michael ever molested anyone. he was different in appearance than everyone else. the basic human reaction to someone different is to block them out and not accept them. because of him being different; changing his skin color from black to white; getting a nose job, everyone has chosen to label him as a freak & child molester. anyone that has problems with him because of these things should feel ashamed of themselves. he was just a normal man, trying to get by in life. he made great music and everyone should appreciate him just for that sole purpose. in this century, we should be able to look past the flesh and see that he is still a real person with talents. there are MILLIONS of people out there with psychological disorders. i myself have a few bi-polar/schizophrenic/depressed friends. does that make them crazy? freaks? no. it's a DISORDER. did you ever think that he could have been depressed with the way he looked? maybe went through drastic measures to change them? he was depressed over the accusations of being a child molester as well. wouldn't you be? if you has such high marks on the charts for being great at what you do, then being torn down by false accusations? he was the same as everyone else. just learn to have some respect for him. x__x thanks. |
