I'm no fairweather fan. I get rather attached to whoever's on the roster and am probably loyal to a fault. It doesn't hurt that for the last several years, our GM's been adding one high character guy after another, hard workers that are easy to root for. And now that Ariza's gone, there's not one player on this team I dislike.

Although, I do admit to defending T-Mac until the trade. I didn't want him on the team anymore, but I harbored no animosity toward him. I hope he does well in Detroit.

The East was much harder last year. It took 41 wins (Chicago) to nab the 8th seed. Imagine it now.

Depends, im not expecting anything similar from Milwaukee and Charlotte this year in particular. Im expecting much better from the Bulls and a drop from the Hawks. Still too early to decide on border edge teams like the Pistons, Pacers, and Knicks.

And yea the Rockers are definitely a sleeper team in the West, despite opening 0-2 which isnt much considering you have 80 games left lol.

Cleveland could make the postseason, it should take about 35 wins. I mean 1-3 is pretty much Boston, Orlando, and Miami, your second tier is probably Chicago, Atlanta. After that a bunch of scrub teams. 3 spots available, for say a horrible Nets teams, a return for the Bucks maybe, maybe the Bobcats again, maybe NY? Alot so its not like squeezing in as a 7th or 8th is too hard in the east.

Here's my prediction (Somewhat Biased, but overall I really do believe it):

#1 Miami HEEEEAT (DUH!!!)
#2 Orlando (that's right I have little respect for that irish team)
#3 That Irish team
#4 Atlanta Hawks (I think they still got game)
#5 Chicago Bulls
#6 Milwaukee Bucks
#7 New York Knicks
#8 Detroit Pistons (My surprise pick, too bad they'll be swept by EL HEAT!)

Well I did say depending on what market franchise they would be leaving, trust me, places like Minnesota and Milwaukee would have great rosters but no one would go unless they threw max money at them, but if it was a large popular market like NY and Miami, then theyd take less money. Melo is getting offered more money then hes worth, but rather take less and go to NY.

Hawks suck, I always thought Horford would be more than he is now and giving Johnson all that money, one of the worst all time contracts. Bulls should be better then them. And Pistons, eh, well see.

Orlando I think will have the best record in the East.

Holy crap, the Wizards are awful. Blown coverages everywhere for easy layups, JaVale McGee has the basketball IQ of a young squid, Blatche can't understand that dribbling for four seconds before chucking it from eighteen feet out is NOT smart shot selection, wow, we're terrible.

On the other hand, John Wall is amazingly quick. He scored off the dribble a few times with nasty speed. And lol at Steve Kerr mentioning Barbosa... that guy? Still in the fast as Monte, D-rose, Westbrook conversation, no think so.

Magic and Heat, tonight. Who you all got?

People need to stop acting like LeBron left the Cavs for Adam Morrison type money. He's going to make over 110 million in the next 6 years instead of 130. OMG HOW WILL HE EVER MAKE IT OFF THAT?!?!?!?-_- Anyone who acts like the ego 3 sacrificed anything money related by this move are kidding themselves.

Not saying you. Just go on ESPN's and you'll see what I mean. :| Why would you dislike Ariza? I miss him playing for the Lakers. I'd take him and get rid of I can't hit a 3 when it matters Sasha. :|

I never got how there's so much support for Yao when he gets hurt, but T-Mac always got criticized

I have nothing against the Heat. Just expected more out of this Magic team. Figure it will still take some time for the Heat to gel. I still think they should have gone after Boozer though. Bosh is soft. He's too finesse to play that spot on this team. At least Boozer has a post game.

That "u mad" pic makes no sense he's WEARING THE WRONG JERSEY. Not to mention, Cleveland just beat the Celts a couple days ago.

Tonight's game for the Magic was the kind where Stan should take Shard into the locker room, have a printout of Lewis' contract, and show him what he's getting paid. 0-9, 2pts? Some of the moves Dwight did in the first-half were impressive, had my eyes pop out... because he didn't take Z into the paint enough. Also, hi Wince Carter.

Heat defense was terrific though. And yeah, those mouth guards were fang-tastic.

Still could the Magic have played worst, I mean im tired of supposed good offensive player like Carter and Lewis failing to actually make a difference in special games. Lewis, Richardson, and Carter combined for 8 points................are you kidding me.

Ill give some points to the Heat defense, but that to me just seemed like they were nervous and once the shots weren't falling in they backed off.

Still Howard outplayed Bosh like expected. New Jersey of to a good start, surprise. I still dont trust the Warriors, but also doing good. Lol at Dallas losing to Memphis. And the Lakers won pretty convincingly against Phoenix.

Defense? It's the same thing it was about last year. Vince Carter thinks he's a better jump shooter than he exactly is. You're not MJ or Kobe, drive the basketball dummy. :|

well Toronto was already bad when they had Bosh and now without him they are even worse. The Cavs have the better talent compare to Toronto and a better coach. The Wizards played against the Magic so it wasn't going to be easy anyway plus they got Wall and a decent coach.

Nice, surprising start to the season for the Hornets. 3-0 vs 3 playoff teams. Held Duncan to 20% shooting and only 7 points. Ginobili jacking up 3s left and right but only went 2-11 from outside. Impressive start and the defense is looking good.

They had the laziest most retarded guy in Turkoglu last year. It was basically his fault (+ BC's idiot job of giving him 10 mill/5yr contract) that the Raptors didn't make it to the playoffs by one game.

True, Triano's and even Sam Mitchell's coaching strategy was give the ball the Bosh and let him do the work.

It's not so much Ariza as the whole team defense. Backups scored 35 points and were holding and increasing a double digit lead in the second half too. This team is so much more athletic this year.

Also as far as Ariza, I think we didn't get enough for Darren Collison personally. He was a legit starting PG and we got a journeyman wing. He's played well defensively but he keeps passing up open shots and 3 pointers. He's still an upgrade over what we had but I think we undersold.

Clevelands biggest problem isn't just that LeChoke left. They have no inside size anymore. Z went to Miami(to get blamed when they lose.lol), and Shaq is in Boston.

Houston feels like they're one piece away from being a great team. I'd say make a trade for Carmelo, but they'd have to lose a lot to get him.

Even though that is technically possible, they would only have him for THIS year.

I think we both know that Melo will eventually end up in NY or some other Big market team...

Yeah, and Houston would have to give up Scola for that. Wouldn't be worth it in the long run. I think it may be time to part ways with Yao.

NY is the only option really if the rumors are true about Chris Paul heading there. I don't think Deron Williams will be in Utah much longer either. If
