| This was a much better episode than the first episode! I expected The Emperor to have Geass because obviously they have the most power. I couldn't believe that Rollo has Geass I was like wtf. Finally we find out what happened in the cave one year ago which sorted out my confusion lol. Suzaku is such a retarded, losing his friend and to use the situation to become the Knight of Rounds!? I didn't thought he would go this far.. but he did. Overall this episode had good plot twists, character development and I enjoyed it :) I just hope they don't try to use similar plots to season 1 |

| Definitely Season 2 > Season 1. Loved every scene of this episode. Nina image change was awesome. I realized that Season 2 has more Geass users and...OHHHHH....12 knights of Round? HOLY SHIT!!!! This is getting more hype and exciting. I hope each 12 has their own unique knightmares. I LOLed at Diethhart creepy smile towards his crazy loyalty to Zero, LOL!!!! Everything was perfect on this episode. Now I'm excited for the next episode. |

| I thought it was obvious that the Lelouch's dad would have geass. What I totally do not understand is why the emperor allowed Lelouch to live; I mean, why not play it safe and just kill him. He said he had other plans for Lelouch, so I hope that the writers actually explain it. I mean, why not play it safe and just eliminate all opposition instead of allowing a small chance for Lelouch to regain his memories. |

| Haha, the world map is quirky as hell. For one, the Britannian empire doesn't include the British isles e.g. England lol. Hey, stop stealing other country's names America!?! At first I thought the Britannian empire was an overly dominating empire (capital in England) in a world of many sovereign countries but you can clearly see the EU and Chinese Federation span even greater stretches across the globe. Unless I'm wrong. The color coding suggests so. But the elitist names (European, Chinese) would be paradoxical? So funny how a low population, small military, mostly desert yet resource rich high HDI country of Australia (light blue) managed to stay independent in a world of mega empires and no one questions it. Of course it's not a spoiler but it had already been covered in season one that Britannia invades wherever those ancient portals/ruins lie. Britannia is constantly having to 'humble' themselves when it comes to the Chinese Federation in the 11 sphere and vice versa. But I highly doubt those portals don't touch base in China or central asia. Hmmmm. However... no doubt the Chinese Federation is severely upset that Britannia managed to encroach so closely onto their sphere and so close to their heartland. Japan's secondary objective maybe as the base of operations for invading east asia. It's actually terrifying, empires of this pomposity clashing would involve hundreds of millions of soldiers as standard practice when invading important areas such as the capital. Such a distance between Japan and the capital country must have sent the Federation into an initial full blown panic. This is giving me some serious 1984 vibes. For now, Britannia is fighting EU, but only because they don't have the numbers to take east asia because of the war and the numbers to safely defend Japan. Sooner or later, it'll be the other guys turn. It would be nice to see some European Union arcs but with Britannia hogging the show and having to make room for the newly introduced federation characters, perhaps they'll take the role of the dwarves in the lord of the rings books and films. ____ Mark my words, if the reason the emperor didn't kill Lelouch and geassed him is not revealed or extremely retarded, I will give this show a 5 lol. Plot armour of that grand a scale is inexcusable regardless of whatever high points the show otherwise achieved. |

| Man in the first series I was at least a little on the fence. In the raging conflict between Suzaku and Lelouch. But now Suzaku is dead to me. That's too cruel, you don't do that to someone. Plus he's the Emperor's little bitch now. I think Euphy dying fucked him in the head too hard. Still I'm finding the scenes showing him in his current position interesting. Both the Knights of the Round Table, and The Emperor teaching him the secrets of Geass. That was crazy too when the Emperor had a Geass. We're slowly figuring out more and more how this world works. At any rate at least Nunally is safe. I wonder if she remembers Lelouch, and how she feels about all this. Aside from finally answering so many questions it put off last time, (damn near all of them, I can only think of one major question and the episode ends teasing it) we see Lelouch in rare form again as Zero. He blew up the casino and collapsed it on the Baron dude. That was too great, another thoroughly entertaining plan enacted. And now he's made some sanctuary deal with the Chinese Federation. They seem interesting excited to see them get developed more. I'm also excited to see Diethard and co return, after he almost creamed himself when Zero declared the United States of Japan again. I liked a lot of what this episode did with Kallen too. I noticed last time she wasn't on the wanted posters or whatever. And while her actions indicated she remembered and accepted Lelouch is Zero we haven't seen how she felt about it or anything since the big reveal. Her scene with Lelouch was nice and very true to both characters. I especially liked him giving her the coat, nice touch. You've satisfied a lot of what I wanted out of you R2. Now explain who fake ass gender swapped Nunally is. |

| I don't understand what Suzaku plans to do having joined the elites, his status has now changed from "celebrity" to "untouchable." As of now, Suzaku hasn't done shit in comparison to Lelouch in terms of changing the world - he even gave up on Nunnally. Another interesting thing is how the Emperor kept Lelouch alive. So far, he's done absolutely nothing to stop the rebellion instead, letting his children scramble like chess pieces. He has to be intending to use Lelouch as part of some master-plan. Not sure what Rollo's power is; if it is teleportation, why wasn't Rollo quick enough to grab Lelouch's hand as he fell? I really feel sorry for C.C, it seems she waited an entire year to pull off that operation - probably spending the most time gathering troops. Wonder if we'll get to see her perspective of the time-leap? |

| We finally got some insight as to what really went down when Suzaku and Lelouch squared off, which was great to see. I was really lost for the first episode. That was quite a jarring transition. So Suzaku used Lelouch to rise the ranks. While that kind of move makes sense, it almost seems out of character for Suzaku. Was his devotion to Euphy so great that he is willing to ruin his childhood friends life? Ignoring Lelouch murdering thousands as Zero, of course. I can't tell if Suzaku is just really noble or if his character is wildly inconsistent. It was awesome seeing Lelouch wreak havoc once more. The Emperor has a Geass though, and an insanely powerful one at that (both eyes)! Not really sure why Kallen would go through all of this trouble to bring him back only to almost kill him. She should have just killed him when he didn't have Geass. Worst case, he hadn't used it on her yet and he makes her commit suicide or something of the sort. A new Lancelot clone appeared that was very powerful. It is revealed at the end that Rollo was the pilot. I guess the predictable conclusion that he was a spy/assassin sent by Britannia wasn't that far off, especially after seeing what happened at the end. He also has Geass. Does everyone have a Geass now? Zero's dramatic reappearance was everything it should have been. Looking forward to more mind games, especially with the added stakes of the Emperor, Suzaku, and more knowing his true identity. |

| this was a pretty fab episode! plot twist central we found out what happened at the end of r1 ayyyyy i hate hate hate that emperor dude but it totally makes sense that he has a geass. and rolo has one too???? hate that kid already lmao but who gave it to them? was it the one who told suzaku about geass at the end of r1 when euphy died? speaking of suzaki, i feel really conflicted about him. i like that he is strong in his beliefs plus he's a badass knightmare pilot but he is so obviously being used by the britannians, even though it seems like he doesn't care anymore which is interesting #stonecoldsuzaku but how far is he going to go to try and "fix the system from inside"? how much of his true identity and humanity will remain? hmmm the fight scenes were cool as per, lelouch was a smarty pants, and the new lancelot model can teleport? awesome, good for him. but were all the shots of kallen's butt really necessary? (the answer is no) and of course zero is still an overly theatrical drama queen gotta love that |
| I was confused with the first episode, but but ep 2 it all makes sense. I kind of liked Suzaku before, but not anymore. He's just thrown in with the Emperor now. The whole "change from within" shtick just isn't doing it for me. Once you go in too deep you'll never get out. Evil laugh Lelouch is best Lelouch. Kallen is hot AF as usual. I need more C.C. though. Waking up Lelouch from his amnesia with a kiss was nice. I wonder if they will have a full fledged romance. And Shirley has a crush on Lulu again! Some things can never be erased :P I miss Nunnaly. She was so adorable, her voice was so lovely to listen to. I hope she is found safe and sound. |

| Well that answered a lot of questions that were raised in the first episode. Wasn't Suzaku the one who kept telling Zero "results gained by the wrong methods are meaningless."? Yet here he goes selling out his childhood bestfriend and using that for his own personal gain to become a knight of the round to... "change the system from the inside out"? Yeah like that's ever gonna work... Also maybe this was already explained, but does Shirley still know Zero's identity? If so she could pose a big problem later on |
