| It was meh. The story wasn't bad, but I didn't care about any of the characters. I don't know if it's just me and I don't know if it's because of the direction, animation, voice acting or what, but for me it felt like a stiff, manufactured product, not a show made with passion. I have a hard time liking MAPPA shows in general. |

| Feels like not much left to say about the last episode here other than I hope more comes along soon. The high energy fast paced action and weirdness of the different devils really is something I looked forward to each week. |
| Kobeni wanting bonus is so relatable. So Denji has chainsaw in his leg too now? That's cool. Well MAPPA did a really great job for this one so overall its still enjoyable. I don't think its memorable though, at least for me. |

| I love this series' obsession with nut shots. It really speaks to my inner 5 year old. Katana man round 2 was mostly fantastic, but i have to say, the scenes where they're standing still, especially on the train, do look kind of wonky. I'm not the biggest fan of cg in anime in general, but i think CSM has done it about as well as it can be done currently, those scenes really show where the tech is lacking. When everything is moving it's not noticeable. Power in a dress just feels wrong for some reason, but i can't say i'm complaining. Kobeni is the human personification of the grindset. |

| That final fight with Katana Man felt very underwhelming, maybe a result of poor direction? Not even any cool music, it just kinda ends. It's also obviously teasing future stuff which I don't get as an anime only. It was a pretty solid show though, 8/10 overall. |

| Denji and Aki having a contest of kicking the Katana Man in the nuts made me smile! The bastard had it coming, that's for sure! XD The last episode itself was pretty good, with the rematch between Denji and Katana Man being the main highlight. Denji's training did pay off as he outsmarted his opponent, although it was still a close battle in the end. The final ED song from Eve with the animated montage with Denji, Aki and Power was also upbeat and nice. Not the best ED song, but I still enjoyed it. =) Overall, I do find it hard to give Chainsaw Man a score that I can be happy with. As a whole, it's a fascinating series with solid production values all around. CGI quality itself is very good, with the odd scene being rough on the edges. Most Fight scenes have some excellent animation, although not the best that this year has offered, I admit. Soundtrack and voice acting are top notch and most of the ED songs are great (Still dislike ED 3, although that's the most viewed ED on Youtube as of now, so there's my hot take! XD). I guess I'll rate this series after a few days from writing this post. All I can say for now is that I look forward to seeing more Chainsaw Man in the future, whenever that happens. =P |
