| Whoa! I was wondering why Doffy was so interested in Momo, but didn't expect for him to be that important. Luffy's reaction was perfect. I got so excited the more the crew daydreamed about a super cool and the reveal didn't let me down. The Minks having to chain him so he didn't give himself up to save him (assuming that's why) was a nice touch. "There was another man" gotta be Roger. The pace was a little slow but we still got a few important reveals. |
| The plot twists in One Piece have always been hit or miss. Back then I thought no one would ever die because this is like all fun and games, and then Ace and Whitebeard died. I was so surprised. But when Sabo was revealed to have been alive, I was like meh. It was just underwhelming. Just like the Minks hiding Raizo all along and them having deep ties with the Wano Kingdom. My reaction was just like Luffy's, whatever. I was actually more surprised to find out that Momonosuke and Kin'emon were not really father and son. When was the first time these two appeared? 4 years ago during punk hazard arc? Luffy does not bow down to anyone lol I remember when he punched that stupid celestial dragon. Damn that was so satisfying. |

| O shit, another big reveal in a row, I never expected Momo to be such an important figure, and to think that he's even not Kin'emon's son! Never would have guessed it. Seems like the next ep will also deliver some important informations about one of main plotlines, so much significant things are getting exposed, I love it. |

| This is getting so good! Now we find out Momo isn't even Kin'emon's son, but that he's actually Wano's heir and the son of Oden. Also, dammit- I was expecting a badass, Zoro-esque Ninja but instead we got a drunk midget chained to the inside of a tree ;-; With how Viper Cat was talking, I'm wondering if Momo can hear the voice of all things like Roger and Luffy. |

| This is a direction I entirely endorse. Firstly, the twist of the last episode was substantiated so that along with its great execution, it holds powerful reasoning. Beyond this, it makes the samurai even cooler! To begin, Momonosuke is the heir to a very important man. The father son act of Kin’emon was purely that, an act to keep him safe. Yet again the Straw Hats have befriended people who are very powerful and while I was surprised that Kin’emon wasn’t Momonosuke’s father, I did expect Momonosuke to be a prince to fit into the bigger picture. What all of this builds into is that Kin’emon and the rulers of Zou have the same emblem, a connection that ties them strong. Momonosuke cried over the rivalry of Dogstorm and Viper saying his father wouldn’t want them to fight over him. This can paint a picture of Oden meeting his demise and Dogstorm and Viper who were good friends with him blaming each other, but ultimately putting their differences aside in the memory of Oden and in the presence of his son. All of this goes to strengthen the bond of the Kozuki clan and the Minks and it further gives all of the current events a link to the bigger picture. Kin'emon, who we met as a farting pair of legs in Punk Hazard, is connected to Momonosuke. Momonosuke is connected to Oden who is central to Wano and connected to the Minks and probably motherfricking Gol D Roger or something to make this plotline reach as far as it can go. The pieces are all falling together. And even without the bigger picture stuff, just seeing my husbando take off his clothes to show that emblem and stand proud and sincere with his samurai brethren was enough for me!!! After all of that was concluded, Luffy did his iconic nosepick to suggest that the fact Momonosuke is important means nothing to him and he promptly fought with the kid like he did before he knew, only caring for the character of a person, not their authority. We had more of the pervy shota trope with Momonosuke, and Nami finally started to fight back which I liked. And finally we met Raizo! He was hidden in the whale tree of the forest. I’d say it’s no surprise that he looked the way he did, having a less dorky samurai would probably be subversion at this point whereas the Raizo we got is to be expected, but the fact that the thumbnail uses the imagined Raizo was a trick that made me actually surprised. I had pondered how Raizo would be characterized if he allowed this massacre to happen. If he decided that his mission was more important than the people that would make him a bit too gray for the formula of samurai being good guys, so I doubted that. I assumed he wasn’t actually here. However, to do the Sabo and physically stop him from helping is the next best solution to keeping him blame free. He was physically restrained, not by amnesia but by chains, and would have gladly sacrificed himself which allows him to fit neatly in the dutiful, good guy samurai camp. As always I like gray characters and they do exist in One Piece but it's not always the case. That said, he has hair like the wonderful Gedatsu from Skypiea and I hope they’re distantly related. |
| What the hell is happening, in the past 2 episodes i was so confuse, first raizo is here and second Momonosuke is not kin'emon son what is happening, by now he is an lord and a pervert, damn it pisses me off when he put his head in nami&robin boobs, but i like it. I hope the confussion will stop please Oda i'm too confused for one day! |

| Momonosuke's actually being the son of Oden (that I've heard some bits and pieces of thanks to Google Recs spoiling me by showing online articles about the Wano Arc) who was the head of the Kozuki Clan was a massive shock. Finding out about these vital pieces of information at this point of the story made me very excited but I'll have to say that it's such a massive tease considering that they won't be going to Wano right away courtesy of Big Mom and the Vinsmoke Family. Jack not being dead after all wasn't that big of a surprise but I'm really curious about what happened at the time the Beast Pirates clashed with the Marines and why the newspapers said that he was killed. If you keep your expectations low, you'll never be disappointed and it looks like Luffy and pals learned that the hard way when they found Raizo lmao |

| Wow lot of little people plot twist this arc. Did not expect Momo to not be Keinamon son. Especially after punk hazard. But this makes since. If he a basically a prince (even if he is an absolute menace) . This is why Mingo wanted him. The Wano arc going to be sooo goood. The ninja being disappointing was to funny. They hyped him up so much. I bet he still powerful but that look was wild lol. |
| Momo a lot more important than previously implied. Which means that Kin'nemon letting him wonder and end up on the Punk Hazard ship was even more of a screw up than we thought xD Good on Luffy for standing his ground and not bending to Momo trying to play status on him. Now that Nami knows though, I bet she'l have Momo pay up for all the pervy acts she allowed from him :P So that's Raizo......does that mean Ninja means something a bit different in Wano? Why the hell is he chained up like a prisoner? |
