| Well I understand talking it out like Fitoria and Mel-tan suggested but it's not like Naofumi didn't tried that with those lost causes who are too stubborn in trying to get rid of him. Gotta say I'm all in in killing spear guy |

| I thought Naofumi would've been willing to get along with the other heros, but apparently not. Why did he trust Ren with investigating the church then? Fitoria is cute. Seems to be very cool and reserved. |

| The x axis of the T Rex's actual hips was monstrous. It was the worst CGI insert to be inserted. Terrible. They should've fought air and it would have been a better fight sequence. |

| When I watch this anime I always feel like I'm playing a fairly good JRPG. Obviously that's the writer's intent, but even the soundtrack ...it's not too bad. It's not the BEST I've heard for an anime like this, but it reminds me of a lot of my favorite JRPG series. I can appreciate a fitting soundtrack more than almost anything. It really sets the mood for whatever is going on - even if it's an episode that isn't PARTICULARLY important - at least it doesn't seem like this one is, as far as I've gotten in this anime (which is this episode, haha) Not bad though, not bad, Mr. Composer. |

Welp, that escalated quickly. I mean, when you have a giant T-rex monster after your ass, I don't blame Naofumi and his crew to run. Then again, they decided to fight back together as a party.

| @Stark700 she's pretty hot. The bow is a nice touch. A very cute character, maybe a little stereotypical of the "super powerful" types girls in anime, but... eh, I like her. Sometimes I'm just a sucker for the "supposedly emotionless" types. They always look unimpressed and bored, and it's usually super cute. Especially if they have short hair. (and obviously care, but don't admit it outright) |

Awesome episode. I want a Filolial figurine!
The t-rex 3D model was meh. But the animation during the fight between hero party and rex was nice.
But it wasnt as bad as the Goat CGI from overlord.

| @Katojana yeah T-rex was kinda ...as generic as they could possibly make it. I hope that was the intent, haha... not impressed by this "monster"... It had a tiny bit of armor - somehow with a T-rex, I doubt that would make much of a difference either way. Not suggesting a T-rex wouldn't be a "monster" but it's ... too "real" for an anime like this. Don't give me things I already know of, Shield Hero anime. I beg of you. The antagonists are as important as the protagonists, or anything the protagonists do, no matter how awesome, doesn't even matter because no one cares about the dilemma. I DID enjoy the episode though - but I enjoy the characters, so odds are I'll enjoy most episodes that aren't written entirely by interns or something, haha. If I take a liking to the characters - the rest is a given, it'll be at least decent, unless some intern REALLY screwed it up. I don't really know if they have such a thing, to fill in dialogue, and I suspect they don't - but even the best writers will suffer from writer's block. I tried my hand at writing - it was alright, but if I'm trying to accomplish something in a day of writing - I'm not going to be as creative as I should be. It'd be mediocre I'm afraid. I don't feel shame - most people would (and do) do worse. I still feel like I would never actually write something worth putting out to an audience - admittedly, I am also very hard on myself and a perfectionist - but I think a lot of them are. They fashion a lot of scenarios when they write their anime, so I can forgive a lot. This one isn't too bad, overall. At least they don't stomp on their own toes every single line, like certain other anime I've watched recently...... or am still watching..... (I'm thinking of "Trickster" for the record - an anime no one can compete with - if what they're going for is generic nonsense and pointless dialogue and fake drama. I can believe maybe the writer had some idea he thought was going to be cool in his head - but the adaptation couldn't bring it to life even a little... None of the plot details in that one make any sense, because the character's motivations are ALL over the place. It could have been cool - but the only 2 characters I actually like are the one who tries to kill himself like a dozen times and can't, and the pink girl who never leaves home and just does fitness routines for hours per day) (...not sure I'd recommend that one.) |
