| Well, finally the end has come, and as expected, Attack on Titan ends as one of the worst fictional works ever made by man. Unlike Game of Thrones, whose ending was just very bad, Attack on Titan's ending was very bad, sadly funny, and shameful. Besides, the word that best defines this work is pathetic. I hope you rest in peace now, Attack on Titan; you fulfilled your role, but you weren't to blame for being created by a writer with so little writing ability, who could only come up with a good premise and didn't know how to take it anywhere. |

| Somehow, I feel it was a little better executed on the anime. Maybe because reading each page knowing it would lead to a meh ending was way more painful. My final rate: only Ymir knows/10. |

| That's it right? There's no more left to the series, right? I'd be glad if that's the case since I'm quite done with all the waiting and the pity for poor genocidal mc. Yeah, sorry, I know there were a lot of emotions and facets to this finale and after 80% of humanity was wiped out some would still take his side but I just cannot and his inability to change the future he caused left me disappointed (or at least that was what I understood from what he said since all of the memory time travel plot device was confusing). When it came down to it I couldn't stand some of the characters, particularly the main trio. The relationship between Mikasa and Eren felt one sided for so long and then we got the Eren and Armin punch scene with that very lame phrase about her living of 10 more years without another man. Great, I don't know what to think about that anymore. It's a mess. At the very least I can safely say this was probably the best directed, animated and musically accompanied part of them all. Some of those shots can put movies to rest and I can't imagine how much time and effort was put into them. I'd much rather watch the last slash again without the context than with it honestly. All in all, the worst season of AoT imo but it's still highly recommendable for what it represented and how heavily produced it was. |

| Wow, it's the end of an era, after hearing so much debate over whether the ending was good or not (I didn't finish the manga before this) I thing this was a great ending and brought up lots of powerful emotions in me. No doubt I am still digesting everything and all of Eren's true plan, but I am very satisfied with the story emotionally and in a narrative sense. This anime was one of the longest I've followed as I started it right when it aired, so it's surreal for it to finally be over. I just want to give my thanks to Hajime Isayama and everyone involved with the creation of the anime for bringing so much to my life with this series! |

| WTF were manga readers doom-mongering about the ending for for the last 2 years? Must be some of the worst fans of any series I've ever seen. I thought that was pretty decent and a fitting end to the series. Aside from faces that Eren pulls, which were pretty simpy, in his conversation with Armin towards the end, the rest of that finale was solid. Flawed for sure, but you'd think by the way fans of the manga spoke, that it was the worst ending to a series of all time. Some of the animation was superb, character acting was great, the OST was hype, the Sakuga was outstanding (in particular Levi and Mikasa punching through the Attack Titan). |
| well its officially over. the ending in the anime was Beautiful compared to the manga, the credits scene made me cry 😭 all that time passed, theyre all gone. and its all just starting over. eren was such an important figure during their time, but in the end he was just another person. i dont hate eren as much as before now, but still wow. great ending tbh, 8/10. thank u attack on titan :( |
| So in the end he killed 80% of the world to save a few friends. Couldn't figure out a way to get them off the island without killing 80% of the world He also didn't care to kill the remaining 20% to save the island, so the island wasn't important in this. (it was previously established that he had to power to prevent them from stopping him) Oh he was hoping his friends would end up saving the island that killed 80% of the world? He can't be that delusional. (in which case how was this better than Zeke's plan) And if you think what I wrote above isn't 100% correct, don't worry even Isayama isn't sure here. Because Eren taught it was predetermined, because he wanted to, because he's an idiot, because "freedom above everything", he's a mess so he doesn't know himself Leave it to the last 25 mins of a 100 episode series to explain the power of love. | I honestly am curious why people dislike this ending to aot? I honestly think it was a fine ending. I do think there were some stupid things like Eren basically saying he killed 80% of humanity cause he’s stupid. Titan powers suddenly just vanishing I thought was pretty stupid also. And that random guy with the dog going to the tree at the end also felt really random. Those were my issues but overall it was a good ending. But I’m curious why people hate they way the show ended. |

Not a fan of the ending but I give the final part 8 out of 10 and Attack on Titan 9.5 out of 10 overall. Even though I don't like the ending that much we have to respect Hajime Isayama's decision. We had a good run.  |

| I was worried I might not like the ending, but even though it is bittersweet, I love it. It wasn't a "perfect" ending where everyone is happy. An ending like that just wouldn't have worked for a show/world as brutal as this one. It honestly might be one of my favorite endings just ever. I was so worried how it would turn out, but I can say, with 100% certainty, that I'm content with this ending. There were multiple times where my brother and I came close to crying this time around lol It sucks to think this is where the story ends, but I'm okay with it. I just wish I could've been here from the start, all the way back in 2013 |
