| Half of the ep was X showcasing his super powers. I don’t know why, but the ending scene where top 10 heroes showed up in the tournament made me teary a bit. It’s also interesting to see their 3D looks. Did Nice have to be resurrected and continue to work for the capitalist? Talk about irony! That being said, he’s one of the characters who are well portrayed in this show. So I’m really looking forward to what he’s gonna do in S2. Side note, If we need to add a subtitle to S1, it could be “The Mystery of Nice’s Suicide”, lol. E-Soul was pushed out of the top 10 rankings despite of all the dirty work he did. Serves him right. I have to say that this is my most favorite anime of the season, or even the year maybe, which was totally unexpected when I started to watch it. Hero theme is not my cup of tea. If not for all the hypes online, I would have definitely missed this show. And honestly the 1st ep was so-so to me. But the 2nd ep really hooked me up. I was quite intrigued by the trust value system which is not common in the shows with hero theme. The Queen & Loli arcs were the weaker ones causing the show to lose some popularity. The creator is obviously weak at portraying good female characters than male characters. Fortunately, it got better again since the Ghostblade arc. I had been hesitated throughout the journey whether I should rate the show an 8 or a 9. The finale helped me to make up my mind. I’ll give it a solid 9/10. Hopefully we won’t wait too long for S2. |

| There's no fucking shot anyone is ever touching X in the rankings bro, realistically speaking. I love Lin Ling, Queen, Lucky Cyan, Ghostblade and the rest of em, but there's no way they're touching X anymore. X is the most aura-est farmer to have aura farmed. The Nice suffering never ends, bro is staying alive out of scraps, paper mache and prayers. E-bum didn't make it to the top 10 lmao. Love you Yang Cheng, but that's fucking hilarious. Also that special OP ED, what the actual fuck, THE TEASE IS CRAZY. This is definitely one of the best shows I've watched, not only is it a really unique experience, it also has a compelling and well written story along with it. |

I love this show so much. This was the perfect way to end season 1 and I couldn't think any better. We literally got everything connected. Sure, I like other arcs than others, but this is just peak. Anime of the year for me. My favorite arcs are E-Soul, Ahu, and X. This show has literally out done my expectations for future anime especially super hero anime. MHA and One Punch Man can't even compare to this peak anime.
Can we just take a minute to say X is the strongest anime character. Think about it, he can destroy anyone that come across him. Goku, Saitama, Zeno, Ryuk, etc can't even come close because he can just get away by snapping his fingers. I do wonder if X is the one people start to wonder who can beat him.
10/10 for this peak just one complaint and that is I wish there was more CGI animation instead of this weird 2D look that most of the arcs follow. I don't like the look of the 2D animation and wish most arcs were 3D animation. I do hope season 2 fixes this problem.

If X can only use his powers by snapping his fingers he would die to literally anyone that can kill him faster than he snaps and Saitama, Goku, etc. are all fast enough to pull that off. No need to get crazy in comparing powers of characters like that lol. |

You guys are looking at the ranking too much. E soul not being in the tournament looks to me like an intentional setup for Rock to plot some villainous act.
It was always meant to happen. In regards tothe online vote. It should be note that they never removed Nice from getting votes since the start even after adding Lin Ling.
If they had intended to end the character it would have made more sense to merge his votes with LL. But that was never the case from the beginning.

| @G_Aker @zxean @ROVI65 The way I interpret ROVI65's concerns is that if hero rankings are based on trust value how did Nice retain enough trust after his trust was transferred to Ling Ling to qualify? Maybe the commission intervened somehow to push him through, but barring some kind of manipulation like that it doesn't make sense for Nice to have enough trust to be top 10 right now. This was part of my concern with reviving him in the first place to appear in the top 10, in addition to the other concerns I already laid out. It doesn't make sense given the known rules of the tournament so it requires some sort of massaging of the plot to justify it. |
| I'm really curious to see if X came from an alternate universe much like the multiple universes that exist in the MCU or if he time traveled. The updated OP they used at the end seems to hint very strongly towards 1 of those 2 theories given that we don't see those other 2 characters he was shown fighting with anywhere in the current timeline we have been shown. If so, I hope they do an alternate universe because if he time traveled back it will be much harder to justify him doing jack squat about Rock and Zero for so many years. If it's an alternate universe it gives more leeway for him to figure out the differences between the two worlds as he gathers more heroes to his side for this future conflict. Those 2 theories have been speculated for X since the beginning given what we have seen of his powers to explain how he gathered so much trust value without anyone knowing who the heck he is. I was a little worried before this episode after seeing his PV that they might feed us some BS about "all the belief of the workers of the world went to this 1 worker" as some kind of communist propaganda but that seems less likely now and more likely just a character trait regarding his work ethos. |

| This show had peaks really high, I'm leaning towards a 10/10, but a couple of arcs were just mediocre. I can't freaking decide. I'll have to let some time pass before I score. X the goat |

| Soooo the episode 25 comes out next week, right, guys? It can't be the last one? Nonono... What a hook, what a cliffhanger. I wasn't much fond of the latest seasons of Link Click, but damn they cooked hard with To Be Hero X. Not just cool fights and interesting characters, but ssstyle, so much style. Definitely a universe worth exploring. Can't wait for season 2 |
