It is not an isekai. It takes place in the real world, with actual nations. If SL were an Isekai, each and every anime with some supernatural would be too.

still technically an isekai, but reverse isekai ;P
i kinda like this genre, hataraku maou sama etc. tho most of em are all "modern things cant deal with magic", like sololeveling where monsters are immune except against the select few with skills. its more refreshing since isekais are overdone, despite me still loving the genre even tho we have to wade in sewage
