| Rin was super annoying this episode. Silly girl. But her cuteness kind of makes up for it. | Glad to see I'm not the only one who dislikes the "stupid kid that gets in the way" trope. Even after the barkeep told her this exact thing. It would be understandable to the point where she got caught by the first random goons she encountered. But she still chose to go inside after being rescued! And Bart wasn't THAT far behind so he could've caught her before she reached Ken. The barkeep really had a lapse in his judgement when ordering that coffin though. Really dude, you gonna act as if he's already dead when the kids are in fron of you? But at least he showed some balls when going after Lynn. But who wouldn't if they have super-precise grenades that eviscerates adults, but completely misses kids. I don't really get the part with the guys that were hidden inside the statues. At first I thought it would have had something to do with the general's "special power", that they were turned into stone because they lost the fight. Were they waiting to ambush Ken? Dude also pressure-pointed 2 tigers and made a guy's spine explode out of his body. Ken's powers are so OP it's laughable (in a good way). Edit: I was rewatching the part with the statues. It still doesn't make any sense, my only guess is that it was a very roundabout way to ambush Ken? I also stumbled upon this. Uhm, Ken, that's a kick.  |

| This show has the weirdest censorship. It's hyper-violent but still rarely shows blood. Usually changing up the colors. Anyone who watches this knows what they're getting into. It doesn't make sense why a show like this would be censored in the first place. So Shin is their "god". Thankfully Ken put them in their place. Holy shit Lin, you can drive?! How old was she again? Also, those grenades were just ridiculous. Lin really was very annoying in this episode. I really wish this doesn't become a recurring thing. Also, Ken traveling with 2 children is still kinda funny. He's this big invincible hulk and his companions are literal babies. I guess he's just being a nice dad. |
