i loved this episode! but is it just me or does Nura act clumsier now? You are used to seeing Rikuo show off whenever he notices that he is in his Night Form so he often looked more cool and strong than he really was :P |

| yeah I mean he's THIRTEEN. cant compare to his grand dad who's over 400 years old. even during the kyoto arc he was 100+ for sure. and he IS a spoiled kid. the entire household spoiled him and he's not weak exactly, just that he doesnt know much about the ways of the yokai world and his own potential. aint I right Nayrael? |
| This ep was lots of fun. I think this is where night Rikuo starts to become a real character, rather than just showing up, doing something cool and disappearing again. Hehe, I love him but he's such a brat, being dumped on his arse a few times can only do him good. I like the way Hidemoto and Itaku have turned out in the last couple of episodes, they were my favourite characters from this arc in the manga, so I'm glad I can enjoy seeing them here. belatkuro said: The pacing still seems a bit off to me and the music is kind of unfit in certain scenes but otherwise things are going well. | Were those namahage? XD They were looking for bad kids... LOL Another Yuki-Onna, at least she looks different from Setsura and Tsurara. And the young Zashiki-Warashi, Yukari reminded me of the other Zashiki-Warashi in xxxHOLiC. |

| That episode felt extremely off. This season has been great, but this episode felt like it went in the direction. Riko was a bad ass a couple of episodes ago, and now he's... wtf? lol I understand if grandpa hands it to him but then he gets slapped around by the low leveled demons as well. |

| Seeing the yokai form of Rikuo during the day!! XD I hope rikuo's training will make him to a stronger, stronger yokai. that scene where he was completely overwhelmed by nurarihyon really shows how nurarihyon is really strong. |

| Kind of annoying how this Fear thing, despite seemingly being the basis of Youkai combat, was never (or barely) mentioned during the first season, and no one besides Nurarihyon seemed capable of using it. That makes no sense. The fact that even the lowliest of Kyoto demons are apparently capable of taking on Rikuo is just stupid. Seriously, if Kyoto demons are that strong, why have they just stayed where they are? I would've thought, if they were that strong, at least a few would come to Tokyo and start steamrolling the Nura clan. This new development just rubs me the wrong way. Either introduce something like this early on or have it be a secret technique only a select few know. As it is, this just seems to make the threats of the first season seem inconsequential. |
