| A warning, huh? Don't think Season 1 had it. If you need a warning to know that this comedy anime is extremely inappropriate, then I guess you should probably watch something else. Grand Blue is finally back! Of course, I didn't wait too long cause I just finished S1 before watching this. But I still feel the excitement. I'm so glad it didn't change much from S1. It even has the same director and everything. I think my biggest complaint from S1 was addressed. This could just be an episode 1 thing, but I love that the animation got better without the artstyle changing much. It still looks very much like S1. It's almost as if there wasn't a freaking 7 year gap between them. Of course, this can change in later episodes, but I hope the animation quality stays consistent. I wish it were slightly better tho. I like the new OP and ED. But the old ones are just so catchy. The new ones just don't scratch the same itch. Not that they're bad. I'll probably get attached to them eventually. Well, in this episode, we got the introduction to Shiori. I had no idea Iori had a sister. And she looks like a total brocon. A siscon and a brocon. It's great that Nanaka finally has an "ally" now. Surprisingly, Nanaka is supportive of Iori marrying Chisa. At least she's a supportive onee-chan... But everything leading up to that was crazy. Iori is still a huge pervert. His voice sounds a bit different. Ig age will do that to seiyuus. Anyway, gonna be fun to watch this weekly. Unfortunately, the whole season got leaked because Japanese websites don't understand what cybersecurity is. I feel bad for the animators... But at least we now know there will be a Season 3! That's very exciting. I just hope they won't axe it because of the leak... |

| How long has it been? Years of waiting are finally over, and I'm back again watching these idiots. So much nostalgia and so much fun. Iori and the photo part were fun. Chisa is cute as ever. And, it looks like Shiori will be joining us here as well. And, she's very obsessed with her big brother. Can't wait to see things turning into more chaos. Nanaka wants Iori to marry Chisa. LOL. |

| My God the peak comedy is back and it's serving us peak cinema from the very first episode! The wait was very long but definitely worth it! Also in some of Iori's lines you can hear Uchida Yuuma's Kanata English voice from MFG, which is absolutely fucking my brain. |

| I thought the cousin was the most incestio we're gonna see, but no, he has a little sister who's probably yet another psycho. Anyways, glad to have this anime back and it seems S3 is already in production based on a leak, so that's a big W. |

| Surprisingy this felt easier to get into again - though it was a longer break since S1 - compared to Sono Bisque Doll. Even less plot + comedy focus and helping read a bit about the characters in wikipedia was really helpful. Also read spoilers about the sister that onyl appeared at the end of this episode. Looking forward ot the sub plot with her. But it felt less funny than S1. Maybe it will get more funny later - or just my taste of comedy changed over the years. (I am getting old lol. This kind of jokes usualyl were never my style. Just how the anime was way over the top - especially with the faces - made it fun in S1.) |
| Very good start. Still funny even after years. Just I hope the little sister goes back home fast. I cannot stand annoying little sister who dictates rules more than 2 episodes. |
| Aaah! Oh my God—it’s been eight years since season 1! I’m feeling so nostalgic... Remember when they went to that island? (sorry... I literally just finished season 1 moments ago π) Jokes aside, Just like the beginning of season one—Chisa appears in her swimsuit as the very first thing you see, right? this episode felt slower than season 1—maybe because it focused on Chisa and Iori. The chaos-makers weren’t around. By the way, I heard the entire season 2 got leaked... Honestly, I kind of want to binge the whole thing in one sitting and be done. I really don’t care about any of the characters besides Azusa… and she didn’t appear this episode. I’m not interested in Iori’s sister, Shiori, or Iori himself. Ughh… bring Azusa back! And also bring back KΕto and Toki—they’re the real heart of the show. I’ve added a few screenshots below π See you next week! |

| The op lacks the energy of the first one. Even if it grows on me with time I don't know if I'll have it on repeat like the first one did (and is still in my playlist both for working out and for traveling with the car). Outside of that, semi-recap episode and slow start, yet it still had the Grand Blue senanigans. |

| Did a binge of s1 and now in s2 boy is this funny with Iori on screen and the cast of peek-a-boo. Now we have Iori's little sister being introduced who's got the yandere eyes in her. Peak comedy. |
| So glad grand blue is back, and it still never fail to make me laugh. Shiori at the end there looked cute. Are we gonna have a siscon vs brocon battle next week? I watched the first season in one sitting, but I'm going to try to watch this weekly. Figured it'd be better if I get a weekly dose of peak comedy. |

| Grand Blue is back! It's been seven years since the first season came out. The episode was really fun. Shiori. Iori has a sister, she sent him a letter and a stuffed animal. There was something inside the stuffed animal xD A curious photo, Iori wanted to see it, but he couldn't. The shower thing hahaha. Shiori went to her brother's place Let's see what will happen. The opening and ending are really good.  |
| Ah yes, starting Grand Blue off with the slide of white text disclaimer. Honestly, there are some people out there who probably needed it lest they cause some sort of Twitter drama. I'll help myself to the view π All the flowery language in the world couldn't cover what he got up to in the first season with justice π but I guess the standard letter was all he really needed. He's missing out on the spicy picks.. yeah man. All the picks of him with nothing tho, too many π altho I suppose that's part of Grand Blue. Excuse to zoom on her butt for as much as possible. Give me more of that than the clotheless guys any day of the week. That bed shot tho π |

| Can't believe how long its been since the first season of this aired, so it was nice for them to go over some stuff again, although I don't really think it matters too much. With all the shenanigans going on for Iori to get that photo it seems his obsessed sis Shiori has decided to show up, can't wait to see what chaos this causes. |
