So this whole time, Uryu was trying to get close to Yhwach so that he could kill him. That explains why Ichigo and Renji survived, because of Uryu actually intended on killing them, he would have taken care of any healers, especially knowing Orihime’s ability to reject all phenomena. It must have been sad for Uryu to see his mother die before his eyes, all because of Yhwach taking the powers of the Quincys on Earth via Auschvalen. It’s the same reason that Masaki, Ichigo’s mother, died that day as well. I was confused why Uryu would assist Yhwach knowing this. Also, I wanna see what Isshin and Soken are about to do and why they had a key to enter the palace.

The title of this episode gives the impression that Uryu won’t make it out, but at the same time, Ichigo, Chad, and Orihime are confident enough to leave him to take care of Jugo, who has Yhwach’s The Almighty, but it’s proven to not be as effective for him as he didn’t foresee Uryu still having hope in this bout.

Izuru getting into the fighting was a shock, especially seeing that part of his right side is missing. I’m wondering if he survived, or if Mayuri had to fix him up. Either way, he will be an asset. Since Yukio and Riruka are at Kukaku’s residence, I wonder if they will run into Shukuro Tsukishima, Kugo Ginjo, and Giriku Kutsugawa (the other Fullbringers). I guess we’ll see…

I am sad that since Ichigo got his full Soul Reaper powers that we haven’t seen him use Bankai. I WANNA KNOW WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE, AND WHAT KIND OF STUFF HE CAN DO WITH IT!

I needed to see my girl Yoruichi fight at least but I'll patiently wait for her battle.

Honestly, I'm glad that we are moving forward now that Uryu has revealed his true intentions.

Nice seeing Ryuken and Isshin working together.

Wait, that was such an abrupt ending!

Didn't really get Ishida's excuse as to why he wouldn't work with the team from the get go. Hopefully they explain whats so special about his bloodline, otherwise his excuse is dumb af.

Kurotsuchi and Kyouraku fights were the highlights of the season, other than that it was meh at best. Don't get what happen to the power dynamics these last two seasons. Zaraki for example, went as far as killing another captain to get his power up, but then just straight up loses without putting up a fight to that hand monster quincy. Seemed like a waste to kill off Unohana for nothing. Then we have Ichigo who can't seem to win a fight anymore either hopefully next season he will be a bit more useful.

The animation was consistently superb though so it was an easy watch. Looking forward to the finale.

Man, another PEAK cour. Im really excited for the final cour to my favourite anime ever. First MHA's final season, then this one too, its gonna be a sad day when I watch that final episode, but a happy one as well

Why don't they fill in at the end with I don't know me? Nostalgic images. That she's brought us to this point, you know, a sort of compilation of the story's most memorable moments, because this is it. In real life, it gives us a bit of information about characters we've seen in the story and who, in real life, even in the manga, we weren't given any more info about what happened and who they were. But there, that thing at the end. xD

@akihikosama Quite a lot of lore was revealed as well especially in ep 28. Yhwach's motives were also expanded upon. Bazz B vs Jugram was also a highlight
