| In this episode was we got to know the five remaining upper moon demons. 5 - Gyokko, 4 - Hantengu, 3 - Akaza(yep, we've already seen him in the infinity train arc), 2 - Doma, and 1 - Kokushibo. After that, two Hashiras(Mitsuri Kanroji and Muichiro Tokito) were introduced as well. Although I've already read the manga, it's great to see them again. I'm hype to watch the animation of the upcoming battles. |

| Demon Slayer is back and seeing the animation done in the scene of infinity castle was just fabulous to say the least. Other upper rank demons were introduced and I gotta say that voice actor of Kokushibo suits its character very much. Anyways, the real fights are going to begin from here on out and if the studio is able to animate the show well like they always do, this season could possibly become even better than the last one. |
| Its always great to watch Demon Slayer. But half of this episode was kinda boring. The hole muzan scene was overdramatic and "look at me, im mad and bad" villan scene. I dont like this kind of presentation. But the tanjiro half of the anime was cool and refreshing, specially the fact that he will work "alone" without his companions, that i do enjoy, but are loud as heck. This way leaves room for our protagonist and hashira to shine! |
| I couldn't take kokushibou's reveal scene seriously because it looks like it comes out of a indian tv serials ๐๐๐ |
| Good prologue for this season for both the villain side and the teasing regarding the next enemies they'll eventually fight and Tanjiro's side where he's waking up after two months, it's good to see that the other ones are doing good as well, and now he's already in that Swordsmith village, Mitsuri and Muichirou are already here so the setup is complete I guess, now I'm curious to see what's coming next |

| Too much special effects during the Upper Moon meeting lmao Anyway, Zenitsu and Inosuke aren't in the OP so I am guessing they won't be here. That will make the season a LOT more bearable. |

| Watched this in cinema so knew what to expect. Did an amazing job with the infinity fortress and doing the meeting. Although for some reason I still found the introduction of upper moon one more intimidating in the manga. |

| as someone who have seen the episode 1 on theaters, it is great to experience watching the infinity castle scene. also i felt like watching it for 15 mins on theaters since it has 2 episode recaps of season 2 and then this arc starts, but we got the additional eyecatch of mitsuri (if i remember it wasn't in the theaters) and the last one where inosuke shows up how he ended up on ceiling. the new opening is kicking once again, i've been playing the song so many times. |

| As expected, Demon slayer is back with this 50 minute first episode, where ufotable wasted no time in showcasing just how good their animation quality can be. The CGI sequences in the Infinity Castle looked absolutely stunning! The meeting with the other upper ranked demons was pretty interesting, especially how different their personalities were. It was their first meeting in 113 years after Gyutaro was killed off and, not so surprisingly, Muzen was pretty pissed off about it. I will say that Kokushibo's face was something I wasn't expecting whatsoever. Seeing Tanjiro, Kanao, Inosuke and the others does make me happy again. Tanjiro himself is on the road to recovery, but since the stroppy swordsmith hasn't made him a new sword yet, he was sent to the secretive swordsmith village. It looks small, but very cosy and pretty. Not only that, but one of the Hashira, Mitsuri, was there as well. I do approve of the hot spring fanservice of Mitsuri, by the way! XD Another Hashira, Muichiro, was also at the village, although he was engaged in a stand-off with a kid and a man that looks like someone that Tanjiro remembers. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets involved in this stand-off in the next episode. Overall, this first episode was very satisfying. The OP song from Man with a Mission & Milet sounded very good, as does was the animation for the song. I do look forward to seeing how this arc will play out. |

| This episode felt dragged out again. It feels like repetition now. They go into battle, they usually win but are pretty fucked up, they come back to heal and train and go again. Upper demon meeting was cool but the rest was meh |

| They need to stop with the effects and exaggerating everything just to flex the animation, it's cringe. And in fights they make everyone look like they are much stronger than what they actually are. like with zenitsu pulling daki 10 km away in the last season. |

| I was debating with myself with whether or not if it would've been worth it to see this in theatres, along with the last two episodes of season 2. I ended up decided against going; while I definitely would've like to experience episode 10 in theatres, I just doubted that the first episode of season 3 would be quite worthy of cinema. Season 2 started out quite slow after all, and I thought this would be the same, just not much to see other than perhaps some bouncing bewbies. But yeah, I kind of regret not going now. Watching the upper moon meeting in the infinity castle would've been such a cinematic experience. And it ends off in a great way as well, making you wonder who this Yoriichi-looking character is. Also, looking at the visuals of the ED, ufotable shows no signs of letting up in the animation department. Didn't they turn one page of manga into an entire episode, episode 10? And I have to say that I at least was not expecting anything of that caliber. There's no telling what they have in stored for season 3. |
