That one chapter of One Piece during the Buggy arc, where the dog is trying to protect the pet food store, that used to be his dead owner's, from the lion.

Fruits Basket had me in full on waterworks mode, which is very rare for me. Other than that the only other manga that teared me up was Nabari No Ou.

I shed a few tears while reading Ressentiment. I was actually pretty surprised, i never thought reading a manga could get me so emotional.

I haven't shed any tears from reading manga. Strangely enough, it doesn't move me as much as anime does. For anime, yeah, Clannad's made me shed buckets of tears.

There were a few scenes in Fruits Basket, definitely. Same with Kimi ni Todoke.

I would have to say that Tokyo Babylon did the most damage. Mainly the story with the old grandfather, and the ENDING. Anybody who has read the ending to that series will know exactly what I am talking about.

Clamp is cruel sometimes. If not downright sadistic. But I love them.

Aaaaaah....White Clouds for sure...and then straight after that, I was idiotic enough to read Boy Next Door by Kaori Yuki. Ooooooh man. And THEN I went and read Rust Blaster straight after that! God damn...I remember having a whole through my heart and a lump in my throat all night and couldn't get to sleep.

I just cried manly tears at the flashback of how Mr. Genzo got his pinwheel in One Piece. For whatever reason it just really got to me, probably because I really love all the characters of Nami's past. I've only read 2 volumes and already Twin Spica has brought tears to my eyes on multiple occasions. The absolutely soul-crushing situations of Saikano, Apollo's Song, and Fruits Basket (okay, it's not quite soulcrushing, but quite cruel) brought tears to my eyes. And lastly I'm not sure how anyone could get through Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms without tearing up atleast a little.

It's amazing to see that a mainstream shounen manga like One Piece has got so many of the people in this thread in tears, but I guess I'm not surprised -- from what I've read so far it's got some of the best written backstories I've seen in a battle manga (or any manga at all for that matter).

Fairy Tail. No surprise there. What was surprising was that Detective Conan (which I personally felt to be a notch more quality) felt less emotional when read.

When naruto was talking with his mom it was so good and when chiyo resurrected gaara.
One piece in the anime when they said goodbye to their first ship :/ ...

But you need to watch or read like at least 2 or 3 anime/manga in a row to be in the right mood.If you watch it week after week it wont have an impact.
