We're not even sure how long it took for Kaneki to recover after he got stabbed through his eyes during the anteiku raid so I think the bullet was probably coated with quinque like the Q bullets. stabbing him thru the skull twice with a sword wasn't fatal and given we don't know how long it took him to regenerate i wouldn't necessarily assume that the span of time is longer than shorter. plus preservation is the measure, not expense of time. akira states "we will do our utmost to calm him down with rc depressants". so this is just a theory based off of observations. i could be wrong. |

| Well, that SS is totally suited, that guy assumed indeed the aspect of centipede, how many fucking tentacles does his kagune have now LOL. Even with Bikaku strength. So right now, Kaneki's kagune is located as a Hybrid Rinkaku, one sided at the waist region, weird shit is how Optimized his use is, he can manage to make lots of tentacles with what seems to me or assuming other RC type proprieties, or brilliantly aiming for weak spots on other's kagune. Like on Nishiki, he evaded the Sharp tip of the kagune, aiming to its torso, Cutting it. I don know if a Bikaku could "block" a Rinkaku easily, but remembering Sachi fight i think they usually do. But after all the Cannibalism, lets assume he has other Kakuhous indeed, or we should say, multiple RC Type's on his body(Which leads to different effectiveness on both offense and defense). The way he Imitates Kagunes, is not simply "shifting" its shape, its like he has indeed CELLS that can BEHAVE that very way, which are said to be exclusive of each type of Kakuhou (RC Cell Type) |

| Hello, I was on the same boat as you guys when I saw the recent chapters about not wanting to theorize. But, I decided to reread some stuff, and I have some theories for you guys :'D. Firstly, about the debate with Sasaki either being brainwashed/selective amnesia. I think it is both. I think Sasaki was brainwashed because how fucked over he got when he mindlessly blurted out 'Nishio-senpai' when he was called Kaneki. But I think he is AWARE and consented of any 'brainwashing' for self-preservation or a better life. This can be supported by what Akira says to Sasaki.  Eventhough " I think some retraining is necessary for you" was played off as a joke, I think its also Ishidas hint towards us. Sasaki then makes a face of displeasure and then they start to discuss about papa Arima. On to the speculation: Right now, the Sasaki is the mentor to the Q's. But the events that occured with the Torso case and Nishio can change that. The discussion with Sasaki and Arima can very well be a scolding and revoking of some sort of status. This does sound a bit extreme, but I argue on the basis that why would you want someone that unstable mentoring a group of teenagers/young adults.  This panel in particular feels quite foreboding. The complete page has Akira reminding Sasaki of his duty: To raise an investigator that will surpass Arima.  I think the risk involve is not just being killed on site. I would think that if he starts having any events where he goes beserk, he has to undergo serious mental training/is still punished. This would explain why Arima called Sasaki to talk. I am also pretty concerned about how his reaction will be to Shuu and Hinami. ( Right now, I don't think Touka will be introduced so soon, but there's a possibility of him seeing Hinami in the near future) so, in short: -Because Sasaki lost it, his status may be revoked and he'll be under Arima's watch now. Someone much more stable will take temp. take control of leading the Q squad until Sasaki is deem more sound. -Sasaki will undergo some rigorous mental training to help repress his kakuja from going berserk. more stuff: -Sasaki and Donato will meet. I think Donato will more than likely talk to Sasaki about Amon and Akira. |

| Well, he took 3 times the time Kaneki took to reach SS Rank (well, rize's kagune was op) considering t he time he spent raiding/anteiku a 1 year gap ( i have no clue how long he took) I only remember 1 birthday. and i don even know if it was Hinami's or his. |

But if you consider how Nishio was a ghoul his whole life and he was still fodder at 20 or whatever he was in part 1, his power increase now is pretty massive. Also not fair to compare him to Kaneki, he's special, if everyone had the same talent as Kaneki there would be SS+ ghouls everywhere. |

Or were they actually feeding him human flesh ? And a bullet can take an SS rated ghoul down ? Why didn't they shoot Serpent instead of my poor "Kaneki" ? That somehow doesn't make any sense. Maybe if Kaneki was in control, he would've dodged the bullet. Kaneki face to face with Arima ? That doesn't look good. Probably he's gonna scold him ? He went all out anyway, weren't they ordered to execute him if he used any excessive power ? Or did misread something ? I didn't expect serpent to be Nishiki, he changed a lot really, for the worst. Attacking human girls ? That doesn't like him at all. He probably was led artsy by the tree ? He looks lame working as taxi driver ( don't take it personally if you're a taxi driver :D I mean no offense). This is really getting extremely complicated. So Kaneki was a normal human then he was turned into a ghoul by coincidence ? And then he kept struggling to choose which path he wanted to cross. He chose to side with ghouls tho he didn't want to kill humans (he stated eating ghoul instead tho that doesn't make any sense) and know he was brainwashed to side with humans. His life is really messed up. I can't see any bright side. |

Maybe if Kaneki was in control, he would've dodged the bullet." you realize that that bullet was used to calm Kaneki after three investigators had cut the his kagune and snatched a part of his stomach, right? it can be a Q bullet or something that carries a suppressor, anyway, it is not something used to defeat ghouls in a straight fight, we realized that with methodology used. I also have a question. I couldn't really understand the panels preceding that panel where his stomach was cut--but was Sasaki trying to attack those investigators or was he just breaking down. I need some clarity over here! going berzerk. i don't think he was intentionally attacking anyone. physically subduing him i most likely the primary motive to prevent the situation from getting even more messy |

Of course these are just my suppositions :p I do not think happy is the right word, he lives under constant pressure, as shown from the Chapter 3, I think he is more comfortable with this situation and with the chance to be treated as human. Mmmmm, you could be right, but don't you think as someone who used to read books to feel closer to his own father, and now having Arima as a father figure could it be a trigger for that someone with feeling completely content with the situation Plus, no more fighting, no more torture. There is no life completely without pressures or problems, you can be feeling happy or content with them in it, But anyway we don't really know since Kaneki has such a weak ego. |
