| Half way through now, and I usually wait till this point to write another post after episode 1 but I just so happened to do one for every episode so far lol, not sure if I’ll keep doing it or not, depends on if it’s warranted really. But man this has been a lot of fun, this episode in particular was goofiness and hilariousness incarnate, as well as some nice fanservice, the girls did look nice in their swimsuits and Manabe had to restrain himself when he finally got close to Kotoura lol. And it’s nice to see Moritani is mostly a punching bag still, she’s cute and funny and all but it is hard to forget what she did so the grandpa trolling her was nice lol. I also liked the little Indiana Jones reference in Manabe’s imagination, Kotoura’s panties would be a sacred treasure in his eyes lol. And after a fun time on the beach it looks like things might be returning to depression town with Kotoura’s mom being there but I doubt it will completely extinguish the funny. And that was another nice new ED, another one that I’d like to hear more but it looks like we get the original ED going forward, they’ve all been great tho so just having two extra ones was nice. |
| the cold opening was cool, with a police-esque interrogation, discovering their academics, and Hiyori turning into Hanayo again. The story around the abandoned building reminded me of Pokemon the first movie somehow and all of a sudden whey the group ran out of it... a theme park. Oh, well, still less frightening than the one from Cowboy Bebop (even if... recreating the giant animatronics of all the boys and girls, and one in a cage... how loaded is this family?) The ending for obvious reasons is concerning. |
