Romeo and Juliet

It's not really "suspenseful" for me since I already spoiled myself about the ending.

I just finish reading Small Steps: The Year I Got Polio by Peg Kehret last week, which was somewhat out of ordinary because normally I read fiction books only. It turned out to be an amazing book, actually, very heart moving and makes you feel that just to be able to live normally is happiness itself.

The book is fairly short and easy to read; I was able to finish it in two days. It is not the best book around, but I would definitely recommend reading it if you have the chance.

Here are some reviews, if anyone interested:

Just began "The Man in the Maze" by Robert Silverberg.

Dune is an awesome book, from an unparelleled great series. I've read it a dozen times at least, the last book of the series "The Sandworms of Dune" is totally awesome and the culmination of the thousands of years dream featuring the Kwisatz Haderach began in Dune.

I'm only a couple of chapters into the first book, and it has all the markings of an epic, in both scope and quality. Even Harry Potter didn't have that kind of effect on me the first read through. :3

I'll be starting Banewreaker by Jacqueline Carey on the weekend. That it's supposed to be Lord of the Rings told from the bad guy's point of view, coupled with George R. R. Martin's praise was enough to make it my next read.

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet, Manhunt by James L. Swanson, The Time Paradox by Eoin Colfer and How the Irish Saved Civilization by Thomas Cahill. Actually, wait, I'm also reading Killer Angels by Michael Shaara... Right. That one's easy to forget. Not very interesting, that's probably why...

Black Beauty by Anna Sewell.

Second. Best. Book. Ever.

I really liked her narrative style; throughout the whole book nothing really makes an "impact" (you know it's sad but it doesn't sink in) but the minute that last paragraph rolls around you're gonna cry your eyes out. Fantastic book.
