| Kinda agree with R-zero... But that still doesn't change the fact that the little stunt that the author pulled off ruined the entire purpose of this arc. I mean bringing back dead characters with a silly Deus-ex-machina ruins the suspense and the development the arc had until now. But still I can't deny that I highly enjoyed this arc, the fights and everything. 7.5/10 for the entire pain arc. Now lets see what kind of "New" development will occur when saucegay arrives to town. |

| I can't even really remember what was going on before the pain arc because it seemed like alot was put into it. Its a shame that it barely lead any where. Now I have to re read a little just to see wtf is going on... Dude, Kishimoto didn't even let a little frog die. |

| That chapter sucked. They go through all the suspense and kill off a bunch of characters, then bring them back to life, lame. At least Sasuke's coming back to the village. That fihgt should be good, and after the fight, Naruto will end soon after. |

| It seems that Naruto is now employing Sailor Moon tactics, reseting life and what not. Well whatever I'm glad Kakashi is alive once more, we'll need him in the final full out war battle. @ EVERONE IN THE THREAD, look at the bright side the next time someone dies (hopefully Sasuke) they WILL STAY DEAD, I guarantee it. |

| Everyone is bashing this chapter, but really if it hadnt ended like this it would be another 3months worth of this lame arc with just another lame ending. I am not liking how all the bad guys seem to be turning good, i was always hoping Sasuke would turn back from his emo stage, although now it doesnt seem like a plausable move since all the bad guys are now good. |

I could understand reviving Shizune, and the others who got their souls removed. That should've been relatively simple for Nagato. If he can remove souls, he should be able to put them back. But reviving the others who died of other causes (the giant, crushing wave, for example) was kind of lame. And it's not like it would've been the first time nameless minor characters died. You can't tell me that Orochimaru's army didn't kill a good number of Konoha villagers when they invaded. As lame as it was, I have to say that if Pain was capable of reviving his other bodies, I see no reason why it's unreasonable for him to be able to revive other people, as well. Though, the scale on which he did it was ridiculous. So, yea, the ending of the arc was kind of lame. Though, I'm glad Nagato was able to make up for his mistakes before passing on. |

| just looking at this from a different perspective, if u think that nagato has the rinnegan which is the creator of all ninjutsu then perhaps it is possible esp if he dies in the process, u also hav to understand that it was not that quick a turn aroun they just came to an understanding of each other as they were both seeking the same answer and nagato saw in naruto what he lacked within himself they were both pupils of jiraiya hu i believe is god as confirmed by the quote its like this was all planned by like sum kind of god YES J~MAN anyway yeh it was gay that ppl were just automatically resurected, it does undermine the whole purpose of the battle, Tsunade will die probably at least but the whole kakashi thing i had accepted his death as a worthy sacrifice but tbh it pisses me off more that shizune lives she ws ripped apart i swear kakashi just ran out o chakra all in all i like the chapter at least the story progressed n now we hav moved forward series do need to kill main characters in order maintain a realistic nature and it makes the series good just thin of TTGL ******'* death made the series anyway less hate for naruto we all kno were gonna keep reading...peace HINATA x NARUTO <3 |

So where are these bad guys? @_@ I think Kishimoto's going for something a little more complex than "Konoha is good, anyone opposing them is evil." Konoha's actions created Pain in the first place, and have set Sasuke off on his quest for revenge, assuming Madara is telling the whole truth. So, Kishimoto's made attempts to blur the line between good and evil. He's done so in a somewhat juvenile way, but, hey, the series is made for kids. As for the bad guys turning good: Orochimaru- Still evil. Kabuto- Doing God knows what. Not likely anything good. So, he's most likely still a bad guy. Zabuza- Was mostly concerned with his own self-interests till the end. Showing that he cared for Haku gave him a redeeming quality, though one could still consider him a bad guy. Guess it depends on his motivation behind wanting to kill the Mizukage. So, I'm listing him under questionable until we get more information. Vast majority of dead Akatsuki members- Evil bastards. Really, Gaara, Nagato, Konan, and Sai have been the only bad guys to turn good. Four people over the course of a ten year series. Seems reasonable. |

| All is happy and well in the Narutoverse once again. Thought it ended very lame. I guess too many people were bawwwwwing to leave characters dead. Sasukemo to the rescue. Can't wait for naruto to die and then magically return when all is done. |
