| So happy I am not the only mf glad at the deaths of Katz and Reccoa. Jerid is a given considering he was an antagonist but the others are a kid we knew since 79 and a former ally. Reccoa:"I have to go to dangerous missions, it's my way of life." All men around her:" No,dont do that, it is dangerous and you will die." Reccoa:"Men treat us like tools so I will defect to the biggest manipulative asshole currently alive." Yeah fuck you Reccoa. I was around midway through the series when I saw people hating on you and I was flabbergasted. Like,why. Katz at least was the same brat he was from the start. What the hell was wrong with you bitch? Emma was right. "Nobody is gonna mourn you". They were fully aware of the character they made. Not really a fan of characters having strong reactions whenever the series wants them to, specifically the very end. Kamille has seen more people die. Has seen more people he loved die. He never had this reaction or even close to that. This should have happened like 10 ep ago to build up him going crazy(removing visor) and having newtype superpowers. So Jerid is dead. Something that should have happened about 40 episodes ago. This guy's entire arc was "I am a loser that will see anyone I care about die just because I have beef with a teenager that beats my ass every single time I bully him". Like, at least Reccoa, as nonsensical as she was, her actions were based on her experience in war. Again, as nonsensical as that conclusion was. Jerid threw away his entire career in the Titans because the guy he bullied once humiliated him right after. And it is crazy how even everyone around him at some point stopped giving a fuck about Jerid succeeding. |
| The writers must be trolling us by killing Jerid literally alongside with the people of Radish. "Who would be happy by this?" Damn right, Kamille. Kamille must've achieved the enlightenment state after all his failing attempts on saving everyone "Men think of nothing but fighting and can only think of how to use woman as tools. Or if anything else, how to humiliate a woman" Okay, now I really don't get her arc. Is it to show women are victims of war when men are fighting for their own interests? Four, Rosammy, Sarah. Two of Jerid's girlfriends (sorry I forgot the names). It may be one of the running themes throughout the series. Though, if that's the case, what of Emma and Haman? Two strong women who really just believe in their own causes. Are they considered to be "exceptions"? That felt both misogynistic and somewhat a feminist message at the same time. (Maybe because it was just dated.) It was a bit confusing for me. |

Would have been a perfect episode if not for the magic newtype powers that ruined it. Way to throw skill and mech details out of the window and just cheese your way to a win.

| Did Heinken seriously sacrifize the entire Radish-crew only to save Emma? WTF. How is this in any way defensible?! Also the whole "we poor women are discriminated by men"-angle ... WHERE does it come from?! If anything, this anime has shown strong women fighting equally together with men for its entire runtime. It's only Reccoa who keeps going off about it ... while betraying everyone. What a dumb bitch, seriously. Didn't expect Katz to die, but he deserved it due to his stupid behavior. Although I think he's been done unfair being called a child when Kamille is very much the same, just per writing a better pilot, so people accept his childish antics. |
