@otakuweek when the hell did I say its perfect? I literally did not say anything about Sylvia or anything about the material itself, the anime is garbage but the only decent thing it has to offer is the story telling and soundtracks.

| I'm not sure if it's adapting closer to the novel but man the comic was way better here again. Their bonding in the cave, the setup for her injury and his reaction to it, just way more emotion and depth... it's just so sad how they butchered this. Even the voice they chose for Sylvia feels wrong. |

I wonder why Studio A-CAT can't do better with TBATE like what Studio Bind did to Mushoku Tensei even though both have almost the same amount of projects?

| Why does the MC act like a normal child even when no one sees him? Imagine that the MC of your isekai was literally a genocidal monster and you characterize him in his new life in such a way that he is indistinguishable from the MCs from other isekai where he is just a typical loser who gets hit by a truck XDD It's funny that this dragoness, despite knowing who he was in the past, still treated him like a small innocent child and his lesson looked like a parent teaching their child that it is not allowed to hit other children XDD 1/5 |

| Arthur being taken care of by the strange monster of Sylvia is reassuring of his growth, to the extent of keeping him in check growing his mana. But as much as she is a good parental figure to him, it doesn't take long for an enemy to target her. In the past, while Grey has control over what he does, being reborn into Arthur forces him to relearn everything from scratch. The extent of Sylvia evolving into a white dragon to protect herself and Arthur from her enemy, even to the point of bestowing onto him her power before saying her goodbyes due to expunging her power, alongside a feather of remembrance of her dealing with the strongest king in history. It's all Arthur from here on out, and while animation continues to be the bottleneck, the story still holds up enough. |

| What a friendly big monster looking armor person. Protecting em, feeding em, teaching em, the full suite. Maybe it's not so bad to fall off of a cliff. Suppose he needed the re-education of what to use power for to avoid repeating the past life. No more chasing enemies or finding glory in killing, even tho that was his understanding of the world. The whole dragon on dragon? fight was a little meh. Basically stood in place and threw magic at each other. No saving Sylvia from that 😔 but I guess he got the Dragon Blessing now on top of all the training |

| @llcrazyacell You can criticize my attention span all you want after you've made it through Tarkovsky's Solaris and Stalker. I'm fed up with fanboys who will just blindly take anything their favorite franchise offers up the ass. It happened with Konosuba as well. I guess I kinda have to slug through the remainder of the season, though. It was just such a massive downgrade in storytelling compared to the first season that I couldn't really stomach it. A show is only free to watch if your time is worthless... |

| It's interesting seeing glimpses of Arthur's former life as a king, but what's important is his new connection to Sylvia and their parting. It indicates that Sylvia has knowledge of Arthur's past life, which I wonder will the series dive deeper into. |
